Thank you for checking out my site! We are a professional, high quality hair salon working "magic" for over 30+ years right here in Gulf Shores. I received my cosmetology degree from Charles Academy of Beauty Culture, Mobile, AL in 1982. Also, over the years, I've been an active participant in southern hair shows fine tuning my abilities to get you looking fabulous.
I utilize only quality beauty salon products like Igora 10-minute color, Balayage color techniques, CULURA coloring systems, and Scruples color highlight, lowlight, toning all-in-one hair color for every client. Plus, I have varied assortment of hair care products for sale ranging from shampoos and conditioners to hair gel and oils.

Laura has done my hair for years, haven’t seen her in quite awhile and called to make an appt.
Day of haircut:
Laura sends me texts asking what I want done, and asks me to send pics.
I did, she has always done color/hi lights; and always done a fabulous job.
She returns text saying: “That’s Ballyoge, and I don’t have time for that, I could do half your head???
I return saying I wish we could have talked about this
Before 2 hours before my appointment via text.
And if she didn’t have time, I shd reschedule or ca
cancel. No response
I then said: @So, I’m canceling.
Later, I

I'm a snowbird, and what a find this salon was. I looked up salons, read reviews on many, went right back to the Shear Elegance website, called, made an appointment. It was meant to be. Denise is excellent, she knows hair ! Had haircut, color and highlights and left there beyond happy. My next appointment is already made ! Thank you Denise for a delightful experience.....

Laura is a true miracle worker, I’m on vacation and like most of us so many loose ends to tie up. My dogs went to the groomer and they are all ready in vacation mode. Needless to say their mom wasn’t. I went to Laura looking like a wooly mammoth. She truly had her hands full !!!!!! Big time !!!!! I cannot say enough about her. She made me feel like I’ve been going there all my life. Her personality it’s amazing!!!! Everything about my experience with Laura was awesome!!! She is truly a stylist professional! I highly recommend her... she is the best 👍👍

I am visiting from MI and needed a haircut. I called and got an appointment the same day. I was very happy with the haircut. She was so nice. She listened to what I wanted and took time to give me exactly what I wanted. A very cute and clean shop. I would highly recommend . I give an A+++++++++. It is great to see someone enjoy their work
