You may have noticed that Dr. David McDonough specializes in "Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics." While most people have heard of orthodontics, many are confused by the "dentofacial orthopedics" part of the title. We can explain! Every orthodontist starts out in dental school. Upon completion of dental school, some graduates immediately go into practice as dentists.

Our first appointment with Dr McDonough and staff exceeded my expectations, truly! My son has special needs and is sensorially sensitive. Juli had a wonderful way of connecting with us and knowing how to make Jack feel at ease. The evaluation was thorough and the recommendations were conservative and thoughtful to Jack's needs. When it came time for my 12 year old to get braces, we sure did our homework. Boy are we stoked that we found McDonough Orthodontics! Dr. Dave and his extremely talented staff are the best! My anxious boy was put to ease after just minutes of being there! They take the time to go over everything! Never rushed, but also never waiting long. My boys smile is sure getting gorgeous! This office is by far my favorite office to go to in the world! I can't say enough about the staff and Dr. Dave. The office is always so clean, friendly and inviting. Dr. Dave never makes me feel like he is rushing through my appointment. Also, scheduling here is a breeze!! Every time I have an issue or need to get in they always find a spot for me and quickly! McDonough Orthodontics is the best! We had a great experience from start to finish. The whole staff is friendly and made the process really easy for my kids who are nervous about any kind of dental work. They have fun incentives and always a warm cookie after each appointment. If you are looking to have your teeth straightened or any kind of orthodontic work done, I highly, highly recommend going here. The father did my braces when I was a kid, got them on in 3rd grade until 7th grade and I had the most positive experience.
I came back just recently to have some bonded retainers put in and worked with his son. They are seriously the two nicest men you'll ever meet and there staff could not be more adorable. They made it very convenient for me to pay for things and I left with an even more beautiful straight white smile.
