Services
Kidd Street Preschool is fortunate to have Robert supporting our center as the Senior Partner. Bob has vast experience in education. He worked 15 years in elementary education and has spent the past 30 years in Early Childhood Education. Robert was a former public school principal and former director of basic instruction in the Garvey School District, in Rosemead, California.
Kidd Street Preschool of Riverside provides transportation to and from elementary schools in both the Alvord and Riverside Unified School Districts. We have bus drivers who have gone through rigorous background checks and have participated in our training program. All of our drivers CPR and first aid certified.
We use the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos to provide activities. The Creative Curriculum infant program includes developmentally appropriate learning activities so infants and toddlers can explore their world. Formula and baby food is provided for infants who are not yet on table food.
Our infant/toddler classes use the Creative Curriculum model. This curriculum gives infants and toddlers the opportunity to learn at their own pace in a developmentally appropriate atmosphere. Through positive interactions with caring adults, young children gain the confidence they need to explore their surroundings and take delight in their day-to-day discoveries.
At Kidd Street Preschool we begin potty-training when the student is ready, usually around the child's second birthday. Teachers work to make children comfortable with the idea of going potty by introducing them to the bathroom and giving them positive reinforcement as the child shows interest and begins using the potty.

Its decent if you need a decent babysitter. Otherwise, not very educational and the office staff is extremely rude. I saw a teacher shove a kid out of the door once, to keep her from coming inside. They dont let you bring outside food, so if you have a child who is a picky eater, he will probably go without food all day there. Naptime is like 3 hours long, if they aren't tired, they have to lay there the whole time. Probably more of an after school/daycare type place. Not for actual preschool.
