My father's property shares a fence with one of their properties. We called to say the fence needed repair. I spoke to Noy (sp) and Dan. Dan sent Gilbert the following week and he quickly and properly repaired the fence. It's nice when a company is concerned about their properties and their neighbors properties.

Very poor customer service. A girl named Amber works there and she is the worst! She's very rude to just about everyone. I asked simple questions about an apartment listed for rent and she literally snapped at me. She very rudely half answered my questions and I was being very pleasant to her. She didn't even care how incredibly unprofessional she was acting. She was even rude to her co-workers, not only customers. I heard her saying HORRIBLE things about her own co-worker's to another girl as I was standing right there! What a miserable person. A person like her should NOT be in customer service

Amber and Nikki are a dynamic duo! I had the pleasure of working with the team to get settled into my new condo. Literally the easiest transition. Very sweet girls who are knowledgeable about slo and the rentals they have. The lease was sent to my email within hours of turning in my deposit, and I moved in the following week. Nikki made sure the condo was clean before I moved in. Amber was quick to answer all lease questions I had. Great experience so far!

Do not lease from this company as they are very petty and will attempt to gouge everything against a deposit including adding nail hole charges in the state of CA (Which they aren't allowed to and there weren't any to begin with unless they were from the last tenants which Amber Steele probably charged them for the same thing knowing they were there from them.) They are also very bias and allow co-workers family members to be extremely destructive to the properties with no desire to say a thing to them but will evict anyone else with the first reason they can give.
P.S. you are better going with

WOW! Just had the worst experience with this company. All the reviews about this girl Amber are true. Very rude, entitled, and unwilling to work with customers. She had cut and paste pre loaded text messages about house showings. She gave 1 time on 1 date and doesn't care about your schedule. She comes off as very entitled and it's her way or not going to get the place.
Unfortunately this company has a slight monopoly around SLO. They had a horrible reputation 10 years ago when I was in college. In attempt to return back to SLO I had to unfortunately go through this company for a house I was interested

BEWARE of using this property management company. Myself and 4 roommates moved into a home with a continuing lease as one of the tenants from the prior year decided to stay. The security deposit was to be negotiated between incoming and exiting tenants. We used damages to the house (broken windows, excessive cleaning) as leverage for our deposit, as Farrell Smyth instructed us to do. However, the exiting tenants contacted Farrell Smyth and informed them we had not come to an agreement. Once of the prior tenant’s fathers threatened to sue, Farrell Smyth refunded them their ENTIRE deposit, leaving

Terrible is one word to describe this place. The people that work here are incompetent, unfriendly and must have no conscious because they obviously don't care about their customers at all. My first experience with them, they wrote up our lease and conveniently changed details in it from what was agreed upon. When we brought up these issues before signing, they threatened to take the house away from us. During the year someone tried to break into our house. We called them to come fix some holes this guy made in the wall from throwing a rock at the house. They didn't come when they said they would

Farrell Smyth property management is the worst people I have ever dealt with in my life, I was moving to San Luis and my friends had already had a house rented through Farrell Smyth property management. We had planned on re-renting the property with new room mates because some were moving out and me and another person where moving in. All seemed to go well until Farrell Smyth decided to make a 4 bedroom house a 5 bedroom and charge 700 dollars extra. This was ridiculous as the previous lease had stated 4 bedroom and 700 dollars less then what they where asking. Clearly not happy with how they handled
