Patty and Bryon have owned and directed a very thriving child care and preschool program out of their home for nearly ten years. Over that period of time, they were able to observe, analyze and document how effective developmentally appropriate practices are during the preschool years as the foundation for all later learning.
Through these observations they determined that in order for children to be successful students they need to develop a deep love for learning in the early years. Therefore, they created a program to support this great fundamental principle and with the implementation of the Utah Early Childhood Core and School Readiness Standards.

Services
Patty and Bryon have run a successful in-home Daycare for over ten years and I am so excited for their new state of the art Preschool! Young Scholars Academy is a great option for parents who want their children to be kindergarten ready. Their Spanish immersion program, Dance program, and focus on academics and creativity make YSA stand out from the rest.
A camera cannot completely capture the purity of a child as they learn and grow. Here at Young Scholars Academy, we are priveleged to teach the future leaders of the world. It's so rewarding to be surrounded by such curious minds as they explore and have fun with their unique and amazing personalities.

We had a wonderful experience at Young Scholars. Our two children went through together. Great teachers that care so much for the kids. Christmas and spring programs were always a joy. Both our children truly blossomed under their care. We sing Young Scholars praises every chance we get! Love to Ms Patty, Mr Bryan, and the whole team! We miss you all!!

I couldn’t be more impressed with the leaps my 3 yr old did while attending this day care.
She couldn’t wait until her next ray to go to school. Patty the owner was so responsive whether it was email or text with and hour or two and any request or question

I have been extremely happy with this school! Not only was I happy about the diversity at this school but how clean and organized they are. I’m extremely impressed with the curriculum. they come up with the cutest, hands on way to teach. I love that I’m updated every month on what there learning. The kids are always well behaved, they’ve installed great social skills. Everyone is very friendly, whenever I have questions or concerns they always take time to talk with me. My 3 year old has loved YSA. He's been there almost 6 months and loves all his teachers and the opportunity to learn dance and Spanish along with the regular preschool curriculum. I've been so impressed with their COVID precautions and working so hard to stay safe and keep everyone healthy so they haven't had to close down. Love the communication with the staff using the new app they're using (Brightwheel). He does all day M, W, F preschool + daycare.

I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Patty, the director of Young Scholar Academy. She is extremely professional and has outstanding talent to work with children. She works exceptionally hard to satisfy your children's needs. As any other parent I had great fears to leave my 2 years old daughter, who is extremely attached to me, without my supervision. Since our daughter began going here, I've had frequent beautiful moments where I think, "These people really truly do love our child," daily moments where I find out that our daughter had "the best day ever!" at school (which is further supported by Sat & Sunday mornings, when she hopefully asks "Is it a school day today?!"), and daily moments when I am comforted by the peace of mind that comes from knowing that she is in a safe and secure place

My son was fortunate to go to Young Scholars Academy up until we recently moved to Davis County. We love the faculty, teachers and kids at this school. Ms. Courtny is a great teacher, my son loved her and the many others that help facilitate different subjects and levels. Thank you for providing a safe, clean, fun and educational environment for kids during this pandemic. Communication is terrific and they use DOJO app to send pictures of the kids participating in academics and learning activities. Honestly thank you!

Young Scholars Academy is just wonderful. Our son began in their summer program as a shy little kid, and was so happy that we enrolled him in preschool as well. Every single staff member is exceptional, makes our son feel safe, and creates a day filled with learning through fun and very creative activities. The facility is bright and thoughtfully structured to keep the days interesting, with fun themes and events planned throughout the year and a lot of projects/crafts to take home during each week. My daughter recently started here and is having some major separation anxiety with me leaving her there Patty has informational advice that is working and the teachers are so sweet to her and make her feel so comfortable and loved when she’s there. Ms. Kimberly, Ms. Brenda and Patty have gone out of their way to make her feel safe and comfortable.

I would recommend everyone to take their children. What can I say about Young Scholars Academy; I have trusted them with my son for past three years for Preschool and they have never disappointed me. Patty, Bryan and Brittney have committed themselves to love our kids unconditionally everyday and I know when I am dropping my son off he is being taught and taken care of with love. My son loves everything about this preschool and we will be sad to see our time here come to an end. They teach above and beyond what is required for Kindergarten including Spanish.
