Services
Super Start School was founded in 1999 by Emily Davies. Emily graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a BS in Elementary Education and spent five years teaching in the public school system. She began writing her preschool curriculum after participating in a grant with Fordham University in New York, focusing on a collaborative approach to teaching.
What is the student/teacher ratio at Super Start School? Each Super Start School 3- and 4-year-old class session maintains a 1:7 teacher/student ratio. Do students have a set recess time? No. However, Super Start School has a Movement Activity room where students are given opportunities to move and develop gross motor skills with the help of bean bags, rhythm sticks, jump ropes, hopping sacks, parachutes, instruments and other teaching aides.

The curriculum at this school is amazing. My 4 year old knows all his letters and corresponding sounds. My oldest son didn't know this after 2 years at a different preschool. I appreciate all the teachers at super start too. They are the best. I hesitated on this school because there is no outdoor playground. But after I toured the school I didn't care at all. (Besides in UT kids can only go outside a short amount of the school year) I do wish it was 3 hours instead of 2.5.

I can't say enough good things about Super Start. I kept hearing from neighbors how great it was and when I finally "gave in" I couldn't believe what I (or I should say my kids) had been missing! Everything they bring home is so cute and creative but it also serves a purpose for their learning. We have gone to a handful of preschools over the years and this has been our favorite. My son comes home beaming everyday. Highly recommend!

We love Super Start School! My daughter is on her second year there and will go next year as well. We love every teacher that she has had. She will sometimes cry when she realizes she doesn't have school that day. She talks constantly about her teachers and how much she loves them. She has learned so much while there and continues to surprise me everyday. She knew all her letters and the sounds they make after her first year there. They have such a creative and smart way of teaching the kids.

My experienced with this school is awesome! My 4 year old son goes to Super Start School. It’s best Preschool Riverton in Utah. Their teachers are well qualified and they know very well how to teach less than 5 years old children. I would like to suggest this school to everyone who want to make their children’s future bright.

My oldest son attended Super Start School and enjoyed every minute of it! I loved the atmosphere and all the learning opportunities presented to my child. The teachers are awesome and encourage each child to develop individually. I really feel that his attendance at this preschool developed a deep love for learning that has followed him into kindergarten. Thanks you Super start school !!
