A native of Mitchell, SD, Dr. Richter received his BS degree from Augustana College and his Doctor of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Richter's commitment to his profession is paramount with the numerous patient relationships he has developed throughout the years at the Eye Care Center.

Don't go here if you are over 65. They not only charged me for unneeded tests and med without telling me I had dry eye, the prescription was wrong and the glasses I paid over $200 for did not work. They also did not tell me I had only 30 days to return the glasses if I wasn't satisfied. I went to another optometrist when my Medicare would pay go another exam and this doctor made me treat my dry eye for three weeks before examining my eyes. This prescription was great. Unfortunately it was past 30 days and they and the MN Optometry Board said they were okay and me, a 78 year old woman
