I made an appointment a week ago and when I showed up they did not have me scheduled for an appointment. When I made the appointment they took all of my personal information and health insurance information. The person I made the appointment with on Monday Nov. 1 at 4:25pm was not very pleasant, but I made the appointment anyway.
When I showed up, they said they did not have me scheduled and wanted to know who I made the appointment with. I don't usually interrogate the person I'm making an appointment with, so I didn't know there name.

I love the fact that they sanitized the equipment, faucets and chairs while you watched just prior to your appointment. The intake person was quite thorough with all the questions and wasn’t just hurriedly clicking away at a keyboard… she truly wanted to make sure she got the information correct. I was surprised to see so much thoroughness about my health history for an eye clinic. Dr. Rachel Hennen was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions with patience and gave me some very helpful tips on how to manage my dry eye symptoms. I would definitely recommend this clinic to a friend

We are so thankful for all the supports that Dakota Eye care( West St. Paul) provided for our daughter! Dr. Flockencier was patient and empathetic with our daughter during the exam and following the diagnosis of needing glasses. Steph at the front desk gave her a pep talk as she saw her with a long face waiting in the lobby with tears in her eyes. Jose was fun, relatable and offered suggestions on styles and sizing of glasses that were well received. By the end of our appointment, our daughter wanted to show all the staff her choice of lenses and was asking if she could have 3 pairs of glasses

My husband and I have had such great experiences with Dr. Rachel and Dr. Matt at Dakota Eye Care, that we brought our daughter there when she was having vision trouble. Dr Laura was wonderful and patient with her. The whole team is so friendly and professional. I used to have a lot of anxiety over eye exams, I don't mind going to the eye doctor anymore.

One location takes my insurance, the other does not. The frames i wanted were at the location that didn't take my insurance - note that i didn't know this until i was finished with my eye exam and getting glasses. Not a huge deal to drive farther to location 2 except - I have been waiting for these frames since June 12th - that's over 3 months. Around the first week of August i was left a voicemail on vacation indicating they expected my frames in the next week. I never heard back and called again on 9/11 and was informed someone was calling me back at 2pm same day with an update

Had some great experiences here when I was younger. My sight was so bad at times I felt as if everyone was upside down, and when people moved I couldn't tell if they were walking or dancing. But, after going to the clinic, I got the help I needed and felt my eyesight was Ritchy-Rich. And I'm not Lyin....at all!

Super attentive when making appointments. Always able to fit me in when I need some help figuring out my eyes (I'm a bat....a real life bat).
Jeanie is a gem. She's always hilarious to work with when doing preliminary eye checks before the doctor comes in.
This is the only place I can find that specializes in retinal issues and odd vision. They have all the new high tech machines and make sure you're as comfortable as possible when being tested.
My favorite thing? All the glasses they carry are NON LUXOTICA BRANDS.
If you aren't aware of what that means, 99% of all frames
