Services
Fascia is a three dimensional fibrous tissue that extends from head to toe without interruption. The fascia surrounds every nerve, muscle, bone, blood vessel, organ and cell in the body. The fascia is one continuous membrane and affects every system in your body. It is, in essence, a web of fibers, much like a spider web, where a restriction in one part can cause a profound effect on any other part.
Women's health physical therapy specializes in the unique needs of women throughout their lives. Women of any age can benefit, from youth through pregnancy and menopause.

You may benefit from women's health physical therapy if you have diagnoses such as prolapse, urinary incontinence, dyspareunia, vaginismus, vestibulitis, vulvodynia, interstitial cystitis coccyx pain, piriformis syndrome, sciatica, pelvic pain/dysfunction, constipation, fecal incontinence, and lower abdominal pain.We also help to ease the discomfort post breast or abdominal surgeries as well as help to ease the effects during cancer care.
SoulCare is happy to offer one-on-one telehealth sessions. While in a virtual care visit, from the comfort of your own home, we will discuss your unique issues and collaborate on the best treatment options. As always, we are here to you back to living your life, pain free, with more mobility and ease without surgery or medications.
At SoulCare we believe all moms need to be treated after giving birth. At the very least a conversation about your birthing experience and individual guidance on how to begin to heal your pelvic floor as well as your body. You are most likely provided with tons of guidance on the care of your baby at the hospital and through readings.
At SoulCare Physical Therapy you are always with your physical therapist for the entire length of your appointment. The setting is quiet and relaxed and you are never rushed through the session. Our approach uses a completely different model than traditional practice. We do not subscribe to protocols such as frequency of 2 to 3 times a week for 6 weeks.

I found Barbara Franzino to be warm and highly competent. She truly has healing hands. When I finished my series of visits, I felt better and I was armed with a self care regime and a good understanding of how to maintain a balanced pelvic floor. I highly recommend Soulcare Thysical Therapy!

I have had extreme shoulder pain with little ease of motion due to arthritis. Additionally I have arthritis in my knees. I had previously had traditional PT and my provider wanted me to go for shoulder replacement without delay.
I was lucky to find Barbara who, after only three sessions, has given me relief. She also gives strategic exercises to do on a daily basis. So grateful for her expertise and positive approach!

I have Bering seeing Barbara for a while for various issues (tendinitis in shoulders, tennis elbow, etc.) and I always leave in better shape. Not only does she check my alignment, the myofascial work feels great, and she gets me back to do what I love as pain free as possible. She also happens to be a fantastic person and relaxing way of being.
