Ohio Health Care Association
The Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) is proud to represent more than 1000 assisted living communities, home care and hospice service providers, providers of care and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), and skilled nursing care facilities.

The Association was established in 1946 to meet the needs of the state's growing number of long-term care supports and services professionals, which today totals more than 100,000 exceptional men and women who care for Ohio's most frail and vulnerable citizens.
Services
Meeting the needs of Ohio's Post-Acute Care and Long Term Services and Support Professionals since 1946. The Home Care & Hospice program provides the same great service to this critical part of the continuum as we do to skilled nursing centers, assisted living communities, and service providers for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Providing services for the ID/DD population is an important component of the long-term care continuum in Ohio. With rapidly changing advances in care and services, ICF-IID and home and community based (HCBS) care has captured much interest on the part of lawmakers, advocacy groups and the media. OHCA ID/DD conveys the message of ICF-IID and HCBS waiver providers and advocates fully and forcefully for those services.
