Services
Teachable Moments Learning Center was established in 2017 by its founder and CEO, Mrs. Teresa Payne. She has over 25 years in childcare experience. The center was opened in it's current location after running state-certified in-home daycare for 20+ years. During that time Mrs. Payne worked with families in providing care for infants to middle school-aged children.
We are recognizing our STAR READER students who are making great progress with our Reading Program! It's important for kids to keep reading! We encourage our families to support TMLC's children learning to read! We emphasize that we are a comprehensive LEARNING CENTER and not just a daycare.
We are fully staffed with teachers who are state child care certified and also a teacher who has over 25 years of teaching experience who specializes in READING!Each child who shows exceptional reading milestones will be recognized with a STAR READER certificate! We are excited to offer a new Pre-k program that is focusing on pre-school readiness and reading!

The "Grasshoppers" class is for our toddlers from the ages of one year old to two years old. The "Willy Worms" class is for our children from the ages of three years old to five years old. The "Kool Kids" class is for our after school children from the ages of six years old to twelve years old. We have a full-time cook on our staff.
We have amazing teachers here at TMLC! Our staff are state childcare certified as well as trained in CPR and First AID and have yearly continuing education training. We believe that good qualified teachers are essential to your child's educational development. We strive to provide quality curriculum that not only places your child's interest at heart but with educators who genuinely care about their overall wellbeing!
Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child's abilities. Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children. Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources.

I was honestly disappointment, most of the stuff aren't qualified to watch over children. They had very aggressive tones toward the children. When I first walked up to the daycare they were taking children out, and instead of an adult being in the front and one in the back of the line they jst shouted at babies like it was their fault. Children need to be taught gently other wise they grown up with agression and with stressful parents at home they dont need to go to a day care and feel like the world is against them
