I probably. should have made this a five star. I went back and forth. I went with four stars because there is no 4.5. And because there are a few things that may not be five star. But really there is not much to nit pick about.
I find the food and service to be very good. I do wish they had a little meat in their sauce, but that's just my preference . Their sauce is quite good. It's a smaller restaurant being family run. They are located slightly out of the way, but in a beautiful area near very popular areas of nature.

Update - Two weeks ago I had a special of the week. Homemade fettuccine with shrimp, prosciutto, and roasted tomatoes in a pesto sauce. This was, hands down, one of the best meals of my life. And I have eaten in great restaurants from Europe to the Caribbean to Hawaii.
What made it great? Number one, the fresh homemade noodles were outstanding. They were included in the special, but usually they cost a couple more dollars if you want them to be in your meal. Pay the extra money - it's been a couple of tough years for everybody; splurge!

I don’t normally like to leave bad reviews, but I drove 30 minutes to take my very hungry, 8 month pregnant wife to eat here because her favorite food is Italian and saw they make fresh made pasta and thought she would love it. We were told to wait when greeted, and we stood there for five minutes just to be told they weren’t taking sit down eating ( at 6:30 PM and there there was a table seated with customers eating) because they didn’t have enough staffing and too many take out orders to take us - didn’t even offer a wait time to be seated a little later. Left very disappointed.

Great place. The food was absolutely delicious ...and the bread. I saw the building from the outside only due to covid-19 but the building itself is very beautiful with its stonework and flowers. In a field adjacent to the restaurant, they had tents, tables, chairs, tables with umbrellas prepared for customers if you wished to experience their outdoor dining due to covid-19. We ordered our meals, a bottle of wine and we relaxed comfortably in this outside area while enjoying this delicious wine and nature. My date brought wineglasses and silverware, which added a thoughtful and romantic personal
