The taste of fresh shrimp, moist sliced pork, beef, chicken and vegetables with traditional brown sauce will put a smile on your face. My family has been coming here for years and service is always great. When we dine in, the waiters are very attentive to our needs and the food is nice and warm. There are so many options; I personally love the Thai dishes. We are always treated with respect. When we do take out, the cashiers are very sweet and conversational. They are very busy but our order is still ready fairly quickly.
Something I noticed is that Daxxon is very clean, from their dining room to the bathroom. Whenever we do take out, I always see folks cleaning or sweeping different areas of the restaurant. It's so much cleaner

Food taste off. I've given this place multiple chances and it fails again and again. Beef nd broccoli, chicken and broccoli , chow ho fun etc.. no matter what I order there is a distinct "refrigerator" taste as if they don't cover the food when it's being stored in the coolers. Almost freezer burn like. I've tried the fried chicken (how could you mess this up?) Nd I know most chinese places put there chicken in a seasoned brine before frying as this place does( to season and to keep fresh for longer) but when I bit into it there was a distinct "funk" smell coming off it. Borderline spoiled. And

My family and I have been coming here for the last couple of decades and it has always been our go to place for chinese so here is my two cent:
The food is notable, especially their Thai and vegan alternatives. We usually don't need to wait too long for it either. The prices have gone up and portions have gone down. Though, this isn't a problem, we don't mind paying for good food.
Takeout service is splendid. The two young men, Brian and Brandon, are great people. Very engaging and attentive. We truly enjoy seeing them each time.
It has come to our attention that the dining experience has changed

I've been going to Daxxon since 1989...always consistent great quality food and attentive service. The owners were always there and attended to small details; they made customers feel very welcome. Tonight the experience was far less. I hear there are new owners, they are not living up to the high bar set by the former owners.

This is, hands down, the best Chinese food you can find anywhere in Orange, Ulster, and Dutchess County!
1. The restaurant is super clean. The bathroom is super clean. I went one day for take out and arrived in the morning right after they opened. When I went inside one of the waiters was washing the wall down. You can't get cleaner than that.
2. The service is great. I have never had a problem with the service. Friendly and attentive. Food comes quickly.
3. The prices are reasonable. A little higher than other places, but the great food and great service is worth paying a little extra for.
