Terrible vet! Do not take animals that you love here. What an absolutely bizarre, traumatic experience. MacNeil is very strange, unethical, and borderline cruel, as are the staff. I don’t know if we caught them on a bad day, but they should be ashamed of themselves. MacNeil went off on an unrelated tangent about how the people of Bradford “are trash”, whilst my partner and I held my cat in her last moments. I will leave the more crude and vicious commentary to the imagination, it wasn’t pretty. Very outdated practice, unprofessional and cold. I don’t think they care about animals at all

They fought tooth and nail to help me save my pup when they discovered that he had cancer. When it came down to the decision of putting him down, they gave me all the time I needed and even seemed heartbroken that they couldn't save him. Even before that day came, before finding out he had cancer, they were always doing their best for my little guy. If not for them, I probably wouldn't have as many good memories. And when I put him down, they were there supporting me and even wrote a card apologizing for my loss. When the day comes that I choose to get another pup, they will be the first choice

Positive: Professionalism, Reliability
Dr. MacNeil has always been great with any fur babies I take to him. He's always answered my questions to the fullest even breaking the answers down so I can comprehend what hes saying. He was amazing with my Aurora who just saw him for her first distemper and rabies shot not long ago.

To date Doc Mc’Neil has saved two of my dogs lives. A few years ago I bought my German Shepherd puppy and didn’t realize when I got him, he had parvo. The two vets I rushed him to before dr mc’neil told me there was nothing they could do to save him. Well doc said “hold my beer” and did his magic and Diego is still here and still part of the family. I’m eternally grateful for him saving Diego’s life when no one else would even try.. He’s the absolute BEST! With my last visit, they were overly booked and I HAD to get my teacup yorkie in and they MADE ROOM to fit her in. Also they

Took a loved family member there for emergency surgery, they "would get to her sometime today" because they were extra busy, i was waiting in the parking lot 30 minutes before they opened for the day, they kept her over night & when i picked her up the next morning she was in shock but no one seemed to care and sent me packing, i am sorry to say that she died that same day. this could have been prevented if they paid attention to animals in their care, and were more thorough, probably a bowel obstruction that caused the prolapse, but all they did was fix the prolapse, without finding out why it
