Today you are one step closer towards reaching more peace of mind in your life. Thank you for visiting my website. As a solution-focused therapist, I believe each one of us is capable of growing through our past and present circumstances, experiences, and choices - good and bad.

I see individuals as high functioning or low functioning on the basis of life stressors such as relationship issues, life-threatening illness, work demands, death of a loved one, divorce and other life transitions. With wisdom and empathy, I will address these issues with you. I will join you where you are and together we will work on your goals - whether they be emotional, intellectual, spiritual, physical and/or relational.
Services
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in therapy for individuals and couples. I have a private practice in beautiful Silverton, OR and I serve people from all of the surrounding areas including Salem and Keizer. I have been working as a mental health counselor since 2009 and I became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Oregon in 2016.
I work with relationship issues and women's issues and a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment wounds, family of origin issues, parenting, family conflict, divorce, premarital and marital, and grief/loss. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs.
Brene Brown studies human connection -- our ability to empathize, belong, love. In a poignant, funny talk, she shares a deep insight from her research, one that sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity. A talk to share. Shame is an unspoken epidemic, the secret behind many forms of broken behavior.
Give sorrow words; the grief that does not speak whispers the o'er-fraught heart and bids it break. Soul to Soul is a unique family support service for those living with life-threatening illness. In the same way a midwife journeys with the family as they anticipate an upcoming birth, I will accompany yours as you anticipate an upcoming or eventual death.

I started working with Jody about a year ago. About six months in to seeing her I went through an extremely difficult experience and she has been a life-saver in terms of providing stability, support, and helping me see pathways forward. I highly recommend her as a counselor, especially for anyone dealing with grief, loss, and relationship difficulties.
