This is the best hair salon ever. Ryan is a hair genius- the reviewer who bashed him is totally misinformed. I have always had a fabulous cut and color here. Anthony and Lori are really super nice, professional, and welcoming! Also the hair washing person ( I forgot your name, sorry) is very kind!! They have things to drink, the shop is super clean and most importantly they listen to what you are asking for! Go here!! Take it from me! And I'm not related to them by the way

I’ll start by saying: Lori has been cutting my hair since I was 5 years old. I only get my haircut 4-5 times a year, so coming here truly feels like a treat. The atmosphere at Babooshka is AWESOME! Every single person working there is fantastic—the place itself is so cute, clean, cozy, and they always have wine and yummy snacks on hand. I highly recommend Babooshka!

Make sure to ask about all appointment information. A no-call no-show is disrespectful to any business but this salon will not reschedule you in the future if you do not call and cancel or reschedule in someway if your current appointment doesn’t work out.

It was my first day and I feel in love with this salon. I wanted to have a hair cut and Cathleen ( I guess I spell her name correctly) did an amazing job!

On to new 'hair' things... came in with a photo of what I wanted my color and cut to resemble (as many of us unrealistically do!)... rich, sable brown w/lots of highlights to brighten my face... Kirra seemed to know exactly what was needed to make this look happen. She went right to work and painstakingly added the color and the many highlights I requested. Well, as the they say, 'the best laid plans'... my hair, being what it is, stubborn and slightly over processed from decades of styling, grabbed the base of the color which didn't quite match the virgin roots... normally

I love this salon! I was referred here by a coworker who has fabulous hair that I compliment all the time. My Aunt now comes here as well. Ryan is my stylist and he is very talented. I have been seeing him for well over year. My Aunt sees Cathy and her hair has never looked better! The vibe of the salon is very friendly and inviting. I posted a picture of the color and beach wave Ryan did yesterday.(The one with Halloween make-up) Tons of compliments! I highly recommend this salon!

I can agree with some of the reviewers on here that Ryan doesn't really listen to your requests. While I really liked the atmosphere at the salon I didn't really like my haircut. I asked for a dramatic inverted Bob but left with almost even bob. When I was describing what I wanted Ryan reassured me that he is cutting the most angled bob he ever did. Well despite what he said it wasn't very angled at all. Try this salon you might really like it. I wasn't crazy about it. I guess maybe if I drank... They offer free beer, wine, vodka and etc

I randomly ended up at Babooshka as I was in the area. Tired of trying new places and never getting the right results, I went in with the idea of just getting a blow dry but decided to get more than that. Ryan who happened to have a last minute cancelation was able to do my hair. I showed him what I was hoping to get done and he immediately knew what to do to fix my hair. I came in with so many different colors ( from never getting the right results ) but mostly yellowish hair. I explained what I wanted and Ryan knew how to fix it, explaining step by step. He was knowledgeable about the process

Based on reviews, and after more than a month's wait, I finally got an appointment for color, cut, blow dry and conditioning treatment. Ryan was the stylist. At best color was OK.. I had color in my hair for more than an hour and when I started to itch, I complained that I needed to get a wash. Cut was a NOT great. Conditioning was apparently applied at the time of applying hair color. Not sure if this is the right thing to do. Blow dry was done in haste with very poor results. Needless to say I won't be going back again. Expensive as well for a Job not done well.

I think everyone has had the experience of going to a hair salon and walking out with either her hair too short, the wrong haircut, and/or the wrong color. I am always hesitant to go to new places and trust someone new with my hair but for some reason I always wanted to go to Babooshka. OMG I cannot believe how impressed I am with Babooshka! It is such an awesome salon!!! Everyone is so friendly and they give you coffee, wine, and other refreshments. It was a fun, relaxing afternoon. Ryan the stylist is AH-mazing!!!! I went in after not having been to the salon in at least 2 years. My hair was a complete wreck but Ryan worked his magic and it came out fabulous!! I didn't even know what I wanted, I just knew it needed to be fixed. Ryan took the time to learn about my normal routine and preferences and he gave me a cut that I would have never chosen but it looks great

Absolutely love this place, the people and how well it's kept. everyone's so friendly and Ryan never fails to leave a smile on my face whenever he either trims, ombré or styles my hair! he knows how to leave your hair looking and feeling healthy. highly recommend coming here but definitely make sure you call and book in advance! they book up so quick because they are so good!

To respond to the reviewer complaining about not getting an appt within two weeks - this salon has regulars that make their follow up appts as soon as they finish getting their hair done. They book up months in advance because they are good. You are not dealing with a fast food salon - try Supercuts if you want that.

T was time for me to try out a new salon and new stylist, and after passing Babooshka on my way home daily for three years, I decided that this was the salon for me. I booked an appointment for a consultation, and saw Ryan on Tuesday. He was patient with me, discussed what I was looking for, and helped me to create a plan to get the highlights that I wanted. I was very fortunate that he had an opening on Friday for the start of the color and the cut! I went here a few months ago after getting a string of haircuts that never seemed great. Kathy gave me hands down the best haircut of my life. Shortly after I decided I was going to grow out my hair, but I look forward to returning soon for a cut and some fresh color for spring.

It started off with a generous glass of wine, followed by a stellar scalp massage and a conditioner that made my head tingle! My stylist, Ryan, is the absolute best. He listened to my request, asked if I had any pictures of the style I wanted, and he gave me everything I asked for. He was super attentive to detail, didn't rush or stray away from what I wanted and I got my perfect haircut.

Been to several hair salon around the area and after I found Ryan at Babooshka, I'm not going anywhere else! He's a sweetheart and oh so talented! Got my hair cut & colored several times (from Ryan) and has never been anything but ecstatic! Everyone there is super nice and the place is always clean and welcoming.
Note that you should call to make an appointment in advance because they are usually packed but they will try to accommodate the best they can because they are so awesome. :)
