We help access your straight pattern/ wave pattern/ curl pattern and describe the right product/ cleansing agent technique for your individual curls and or any texture. Teaching you which products to use to meet your styling needs. We will educate you not only how to smooth your curls, but to give them definition and separation.
Great location in the Milltown area, lots of walk traffic, diverse clientele, an ongoing education program, and friendly stylists and management. We cater to a long list of locals, many from afar and pride ourselves on having loyal guests and great service. Natural hair care specialist are hard to come by in this area. I would normally have to travel 45 minutes to a hour to find a salon. Ruth Pearl's has a friendly, calming and rejuvenating atmosphere. Shawna is extremely knowledgable and willing to share hair care tips for me to keep my style up when I go home. I came in for a standard wash and go and left with tips, product recommendations and anticipating my next appointment.

Love love love! Really chic cozy salon. Shawna has magical hands and left my scalp feeling like a billion dollars. My cut and color came out fabulous!!! And let’s talk about the products they use, smelled amazing made my hair feel luxurious and made my curls pop! They’re definitely high end products, only the best for her customers! I’m so happy I made the trip to her, I would definitely recommend!
