Obstructive sleep apnea occurs when your throat muscles intermittently relax and block your airway while you're asleep. Omg everything bad in the reviews is true I had been seeing them for a couple o years on the east side and the were ok but this year I went because a broken crown and it took them 6 weeks to send treatment to insurance to approve 8 weeks for them to call me back and when they did they didn't have any appointments until October I needed an extraction so they got me an appointment on the west side and it has been the worst experience the docto there an old guy that I didn't trust changed the whole treatment adding crowns and veneers that the doctor on the East side never mentioned so I

My wife set an appointment on their website 3 weeks ago. On the day of the appointment (4/5) we show up at 9am as scheduled. Lights are off, nobody home. Called and was told they didn't have a doctor until Thursday, so there were no appointments being honored. Even when I read off the confirmation to the extremely unmotivated receptionist that answered, was told we're basically out of luck, and would need to reschedule.
They don't check their appointments made from the website apparently. 2 doctors, 2 locations. No reason not to have a doctor at a specific location for almost the entire week.

Was told I needed a root canal and a crown. Proceeded with the root canal to find out that either they lacked the tools to do it properly or whether is was past his operating hours and wanted to leave as they were unwilling to even let me talk to the dentist afterwards. Was willing pay all out of pocket and was told I had a curved root and therefore he was unable to finish. Was still charged a couple hundred for a unfinished job and the dentist left the curved root in the tooth and filled it with a large filling. I would avoid this place at all cost.

I would not recommend the place under any circumstances. Only dental clinic I have ever been to that will swipe your credit card while you are sitting in the chair. When explanation of benefits came back from insurance it was determined that they performed unnecessary services that I was responsible for paying 100%. After paying over $1300 out of pocket they will not finish my services until they get the check from the insurance company. Receptionist is awful to deal with. Hands down the WORST customer service I have received anywhere. Do yourself a favor and find another dentist.

I called for a quote on a repair or replacement of a permanent retainer. This office was suggested from someone else who had theirs repaired so I thought I could get a quote for the service I needed. The lady on the phone gave me literally no answers. I asked how much the office visit would be, she said she didnt know it depends on what the doctor suggests. I asked for an estimate on how much it would be to repair the retainer, she said she didnt know. My name Ingrid I had a really bad tooth ache. for a weeks so I called Picasso Smile Dental to see if they can see me.. I told them I didnt have insurance Ms. Terra front office was so kind and very professional she explained my options and was able to schedule me right away which I'm so grateful! Absolutely found my FAVORITE dentist EVER today! The receptionist was extraordinarily warm and welcoming! I then went got my x-rays done, I had a root canal done as well as two fillings on my first visit! I had previously called another dental office which told me they could not get me in until August 15th. I had a cracked tooth and it was imperative that I went to see somebody right away. From the other dentist office told me that the appointment was for August 15th they would take X-rays and then make another appointment for me to come back so the doctor could do the work...... Okay service. Just make sure they verify everything with your insurance before any work is done. If not, you will be hit with an unexpected bill. Been to other dentist office and they always let me know what my insurance wont cover but in this case wasn't prepared for a unexpected bill. Due to that wont be returning.

I called last week to schedule an appt as a new patient and the person who helped me was extremely nice and efficient. She was able to get me an appt for today and said she would call me back with my insurance information. She did as she said she would and I didn't have to worry any unanswered questions regarding pay/insurance. As soon as I walked into the office the receptionist was extremely nice along with ALL the staff. The dentist took the time to hear my concerns and fix my problem on the spot. Very clean and organized office. I have to say this was one of my best dentist visits

I highly recommend Dr. Buckler and his staff. They are very professional and are wonderful people. Dr. Buckler explains everything before he does it and also while he's working. I went in to have my wisdom teeth removed and I was pretty nervous other than regular cleanings I have never had any major procedure done at the dentist. But Dr. Buckler did such an amazing job with making sure I was comfortable and I loved that he talked about what he was doing during the entire procedure and also letting me know what to expect. It really made the procedure seem to go by faster. He was great. And it was great that they were able to see me within hours of making an appointment.

Received Clear Correct (Invisalign equivalent) from Dr. Nima. I have a busy schedule and his staff was able to work with me. Very gentle when it came to procedures. Very clean office. These are the most incompetent people I have ever had the misery to work with. Their patient care is lacking to say the least. Dr. Shams is always out of town, and the staff just doesn't care. How can you help your patients if you're never there? I really get the feeling that they hate their jobs, and that is made evident by the way they treat their patients. Go here if you wanted to be treated like a dollar sign. Do yourself a favor and go to an experienced dentist.

I was able to schedule an appointment to be seen in two days which was helpful. I waited about 15 minutes for my appointment to start. The tech was very patient with me when doing the X-rays. Dr. Shayesteh was very personable and detailed in explaining the treatment that I needed. He took his time evaluating me and was very informative. I definitely recommend this dentist and plan on moving my children to this office.

I usually get my teeth cleaned every 6 to 8 months I went to this dentist for an exam and cleaning.Wow, to my surprise they told me I had not one,not two, but seven cavities! I was wondering how could this be, I am not in pain and I have never had a cavity my entire life, and I just visited a different dentist 6 months prior to this visit.I ran out as fast as I could, went to get a second opinion and to my relief 0 cavities!

These doctors seem as if they are accustomed to working with the same type of patient over and over and if you have serious dental work to be done, I wouldn't go to them.
I am only speaking as honest as I can. Dr. Shay and Dr. Sham are very personable people and yes they are very well spoken. However, I went in originally for cavities and was sold by Dr. Sham on veneers. Since I already had a porcelain tooth I figured I'd get 2 new ones. I waited over one hour just to be screened for zoom whitening. Then the person performing the procedure did not tell me anything about what she was doing and left me under the process without music any indication of potential sensitivity (which is intense). I left with zero info on how to maintain. I refrained from coffee tea and wine for many weeks and have lost all enamel on my teeth and have even more yellow teeth than before :( I am so disappointed.

My experience with Picasso Smiles was a total nightmare. I decided to try it out since it was a new place but I was greatly mistaken. At my appointment, an unnecessary procedure was done on me. I was in much pain and wasn't able to eat or drink until hours later. I was also told I had a total of 8 cavities and that I was at the pre-stages of a gum disease. After my appointment I realized I was over charged and decided to go back to my usual dentist to fix my cavities. At my checkup, my dentist found 0 cavities and said everything was perfectly fine. I have never had such an unpleasant, unprofessional experience with a dentist as I had at Picasso Smiles Dental. I would share the names of the dentists, and hygienists who worked on my teeth; however, no one bothered to share their name with me. The whole process is designed to confound the patient into excessive and needless care, creating an environment better suited for one of the dozens of used car lots in El Paso. Picasso is an appropriate name in that the cleaning skills would be defined as abstract at best, though certainly not masterful. Who polishes teeth prior to removing the plaque
