Originally opened in 1988 by the Sarajian family, The Original Bailey's (formerly Bailey's Rib & Steakhouse) has been a Mount Pocono, PA, favorite for a long time, and is still owned by the Sarajian family today. Bailey's building is quite historic - originally built in the 1920's as a convent for the Diocese of Scranton, during its hotel days it was known as the Thunderbird.

A spectacular place to share with family, friends, your favorite drink or food in the warmth of a great atmosphere that makes you feel at home, the attention is unique and wonderful from the moment you enter until you leave ... There is nothing richer than having A place close to you and no matter how far you are, it is worth arriving at the place ... The food was your basic Steakhouse fare I was not blown away nor was it bad. Our waitress Michelle was excellent.
Here is why I give 2 stars and highly doubt we will return. The other 2 waitresses where extremely unprofessional especially Jonie for a dinner environment, talking loudly and flustered, you want to comment about other tables you don't do it in front of other guests. They where also apparently in a hurry to leave and where sweeping booths and overall had no regard for us having a nice dinner. If I wanted a loud abnoxious environment I would go to a Diner and probably have comparable

Recently had dinner at Baileys while I was staying at Great Wolf, and the restaurant is very nice and all the food was fantastic. There were a few very minor issues with the service, but I got the impression that - like most businesses these days - they were contending with a lack of staffing. But the food was a home-run. Would definitely recommend.

Went there this evening and I was far from impressed. The outside is nice very inviting in a small town way. The prices seemed a bit high for where we were but it was worth a try. We were sat quickly and got our bread and menus. Eventually we ordered our drinks which included a martini and a beer both of which were good no complaints. Our appetizer was fantastic. Their version of the blooming onion was very well done. Then we ordered our dinner. Two of us ordered the 8oz new york strip and another ordered the 6oz sirloin. Neat, huge, and classic place. Has a very classic feel to it. Some of the booths are a tad aged. The food was excellent. Nothing I would go too far out of my way for, but it was good. Real mashed potatoes. The Caesar Salad was without Egg, yet exceptionally delicious. The Beer List was terrible. The service was, well... it was Post Covid Service.

Ordered takeout and we were given a plain chicken breast on a bun with nothing on it whatsoever..... we ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and a crabcake sandwich and both came complete dry without lto and just down right sad looking. We ordered a side salad with the "buffalo" chicken sandwich(which you can barely call a sandwhich) and it was suppose to have a side of ranch .... well it came with some kind of Wasabi sauce. Every single item we ordered and received were wrong or missing half of the listed items that the menu mentioned was included. Needless to say we called to complain and spoke

Even though we are local, we have never tried Bailey's. The food was pretty good and we loved the large kids menu! But our waitress was new and service was a bit of a miss. I'm willing to try them again.
Husband tried a flight of craft beer. His meal was the Double Burger with sweet potato fries. He really liked the burger and I tried a bite as well, it was very good.
Daughter, 6, had the Chicken Little (3 tenders), skin-on fries, and Cookies & Cream ice cream for dessert. She ate everything!
I ordered an 8 oz Prime Rib (medium), Rice Pilaf, and Caesar Salad. Wish I had ordered it Med-Rare but
