Services
The Hills Montessori is committed to helping children reach their full potential by encouraging and fostering a life-long love of learning! We do this by providing an educational environment that is carefully prepared and designed to facilitate the development of a child's independence.
Based upon the principals of Dr. Maria Montessori, our Montessori environment offers a "hands on" experience allowing children to engage in activities that help them develop their cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills.Montessori education develops capable learners who not only know "how" to learn and solve problems, but also "love" to learn.

Over 100 years ago, Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian Physician, created a new vision of education for children, which is often thought of as the "education for life." Montessori is a worldwide education system founded at the beginning of the century that is based upon a lifetime of research by Dr. Maria Montessori.
Our experienced faculty at The Hills Montessori engages children in specially prepared classrooms, offering a stimulating Toddler and Primary curriculum including:. The Hills Montessori also offers an amazingly rich summer camp experience for current and new students. Our rich curriculum emphasizes the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori and integrates music, art, math, reading, writing, history, botany, zoology, physical science, and geography.
Our infant program is designed for children 6 weeks to 18 months of age and premised on the observation that although small in stature, children are immense in mental ability and eager to use it. The Hills Montessori has two baby rooms: Baby Room 1 for infant's age 6 weeks - 10/12 months and Baby Room 2 for mobile babies' age 10/12 -18 months.
Our Toddler program, designed for children ages 18 months through 3 year of age, focus on a period of tremendous development and growth. During this stage, children develop 80% of their personality, enhance their mobility, improve their gross and fine motor skills, as well as learn they are separate individuals yet a vital part of a community.

I had 2 of my kids going to this school (3 and 4 year old) while there the director had to self-report the school for incidents I brought to her attention with my youngest. - upon doing so I was told I have 30 days to find new childcare.
I asked to speak to the owner multiple times and was refused. The director said "I run this daycare and everything goes through me".
I was told at one point my daughter (who is 3) cannot come to daycare tired, they made me leave work to come pick her up because they couldn't care of her while tired. So if your child is anything less than perfect, do not send

We love The Hills Montessori! The teachers are very caring and keep us updated on our son's progress regularly. I can't imagine how difficult it has been for childcare facilities to navigate COVID-19 policies, and they have always kept the kids' safety and wellness at the forefront of every decision.

One of the best decisions we have ever made it to bring our little guy to The Hills! When he started there we are ton of concerns about his development (he's adopted), but in the 6ish months that he has been there he has far exceeded development stages and is doing so amazing! The staff is so loving and caring and the communication is out of the world!
Although Montessori is educational based they are completed centered on a loving environment that grows the whole child with balance between work and play with a ton of positive reinforcement!
Our little one LOVES going every day and we are so

My daughter began in this facility after we had to abruptly leave another daycare due to a terrible experience. She was my first born so I was very apprehensive due to our first experience with a daycare facility. Becki was very friendly and from day 1, I never felt uneasy leaving my daughter. 5 years later, we now have 3 daughters enrolled and have never been disappointed.
They're open with parents and clear about their expectations for your child in the center. Once preschool starts they meet once a year with parents to discuss the works and activities your child will take part in and show you

My two children currently attend The Hills and they love the 'work' atmosphere that is provided by the Montessori curriculum.
As babies they are given freedom to explore their entire surroundings and are provided unique items along with standard Montessori items to learn sensory as a young age and move onto motor stills, language, and vocabulary as they grow.
Communication with parents and the staff is almost on a daily basis to help communicate where your child is at and if there is anything that needs to be addressed. The atmosphere is almost as if it is a large family working together to help

Both of my children have grown up here at The Hills Montessori. They have been outstanding throughout the years and continue to exceed my expectations and caring for my children. The teachers here a fully invested in your child's development and care for them as if they were your own. Both my children love coming here and love the teachers. I would highly recommend this for your child care and for your child's development.

My wife and I made an appointment to tour the facility at 9:00 AM to see if it was somewhere we would like our 3 yr old son to attend.
We arrived at 8:55 AM. There wasn't any staff at the front desk. A parent that was dropping off his child opened the door to let us into the lobby. We both stood there, in an empty lobby, waiting for the person we made an appointment with to come out, but no one came.
Around 9:00 AM, someone rang the bell to be let in. We ignored it as we weren't staff. No staff came. The person began to knock on the door and indicated that they worked there. We opened the door

The director who was there in 2013 was racist against low income individuals . Her name was Jackie. She was very disrespectful and made it a nightmare for children to attend there if they had title 20 child care. If she is still the director or supervising there do not allow your children to go if you are a low income family, this could be a terrible experience for the parents who don't know about her. She is a devil. She has no respect for low income families. Hopefully she is no longer the director of this business.
However the staff there was wonderful. The curriculum was outstanding. The building
