Our therapy goal is "Stretching for Patient Success". In 2000, Cleveland BodyWise (BW) was created to add wellness services for clients. The Get Wise. BodyWise slogan reveals that we extend care after rehabilitation. Our SPT and BW teams are dedicated to taking patients from "Rehabilitation to Wellness".
We are direct access physical therapy providers, which is basically saying that we are professionals who can provide physical therapy without a physician order. Most insurance companies allow direct access physical therapy services. We will do a courtesy insurance check to see if your insurance company allows us to treat you directly without a physician order.
Co-payment - A percentage of the covered services for which the covered person is responsible. Covered Services- Those professional services, procedures, treatments, accommodations, supplies, and products furnished by a provider to a covered person and for which such covered person's policy provides coverage.
Therapy at Sternen Physical Therapy has enhanced my entire quality of life - tension headaches are almost completely gone, my posture is better. I look and feel like I've taken 10 years off. When I came to Sternen for therapy, my posture was like an ape, with aggravation and pain. When I completed the nine sessions, my posture was like a professional soldier, with no aggravation or pain.
We are happy to provide insurance-based physical therapy services. See the insurance tab for a list of insurances that we are in-network. We will do a courtesy insurance verification for you to determine your PT insurance benefits. Some plans are subject to a deductible, coinsurance, or copay. Authorizations are sometimes required and we work diligently to be sure those are in place for you.

Excellent group of physical therapists. They are thorough and very skilled and caring. I have worked with most of the therapists in the group and I can attest each are excellent. For example, I tore my meniscus and was scheduled for surgery at the Cleveland Clinic since I had a lot of knee pain.
Jessica dry needled my knee over several sessions and the pain went away and I cancelled the surgery.

I have been seeing Kate Shoger for several months now. She is extremely knowledgeable, and has helped me tremendously. I have been to other physical therapists at other practices, and none have been as good as Kate. Years ago, I saw another therapist at Sternan as well. I cannot recommend this physical therapy practice more!

I was Googling to find a new therapist who can do Myofascial Release and I stumbled across Sternen PT. I was scheduled with Kate. My first session with her was intake and assessment. I was very impressed with her ability to size up my situation and give me a lot of hope thai my hip/glute/back issues can be turned around. I was surprised that they accepted my insurance was I was super glad they did. I used to go to the Cleveland Clinic for PT so this is a nice change of pace. I look forward to working with her. She has a positive attitude and she is very knowledgeable.

The staff at Sternen therapy is top notch. Excellent service and very Pol and courteous. David is the best therapist I've ever encountered. He did and excellent job for me and my back condition. I would recommend this staff to anyone who wants to be treated right and service number one. They are the best 😀

I have been going to Sternen physical therapy for many years. I have seen Deb for Bodywise and have also had physical therapy there for a knee injury. Everyone at Sternen is a top notch provider of services. They are all helpful and professional in every way possible, from people at the desk to all the therapists. Deb is an extremely gifted body worker. I book a year’s worth of appointments every January. I rely on her to help keep my body in the best shape possible.

Sternen Physical Therapy was fantastic. They saved me from undergoing knee surgery. They had flexible hours, truly listened and knew what I needed, took their time, and didn't see me as just a number. Gave me things to do at home and gave me ideas to prevent other injuries in the future. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Wow! The care I have been provided at Sternen has been second to none! They are truly a wonderful group of people who care about their patients. Its always one on one care with the same therapist unless I want different or if someone else could better help. Their specialized care is the best in the area! I highly recommend!
