At Phoenix Counseling Center, we know how tough it is to struggle with addiction, domestic violence, sexual assault, trauma or a mental health issue. It's important to realize you're not alone - and to know that, with help, you can rise above these situations.
Phoenix has formed strong relationships with doctors, nurses, social workers and other behavioral health professionals in our service area. If you're one of these dedicated professionals, here is information that will be useful as we work together for the benefit of those in crisis. Phoenix is committed to providing easy access to a comprehensive range of behavioral health services in the Gaston, Lincoln, and Cleveland county communities.
Although some of our funding comes from governmental grants and other local funding, Phoenix Counseling Center relies heavily on financial support from the community. Many of the individuals we assist are uninsured or face financial struggles. The heartfelt contributions of residents and businesses in the three counties we serve and the surrounding areas are critical to providing the services our clients so desperately need.

My daughter was just a patient here. This was a major waste of time. She was worse off than when she went in. They released her out into the street with notification to anyone. She was and still is in unstable condition. It is sad they just let her go like that. Anything could have happened to her and no one would have even known. I feel like this is total negligence. This was what we hoped would be help and has turned into an even worse experience.
