Services
All clients of Kline Home Inspection receive a custom computer-generated home inspection report that is available online or sent via U.S. mail, if preferred. The home inspection report contains pictures and text detailing our observations, condition of materials, type of materials, and any defects that, in the judgement of the inspector, adversely affect the function and/or integrity of the items, components, and systems.
Kline Home Inspection is certified by AARST-NRPP to provide professional radon testing with the Sun Nuclear 1029 continuous radon monitor. We generally place our tests for a period of 48-72 hours. Radon is a carcinogenic gas that is hazardous if inhaled. Build-up of radon in homes is a health concern, and each year, thousands of lung cancer cases are attributed to radon exposure.
If your radon test result is 4.0 pCi/l or higher, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends that you take action to reduce your home or building's indoor radon levels. But don't worry! We can lower the radon levels to below 2.0 pCi/l in most cases, and we guarantee our radon mitigation systems will lower your radon to safe levels.

I have now used JD's services for the second time and I am very happy with the thorough job he did once again. This time I was able to be there while he did it and it was so helpful to hear him verbalize so many helpful hints to good home maintenance. As a single woman, it was so reassuring when buying my new little home. I highly recommend using JD when needing a good home inspection even if just to know what needs to be repaired in your own home.

JD did an excellent job putting in a radon mitigation system for us. Was very responsive leading up to the visit, fairly priced, and did a high quality job. He left our basement cleaner than when he arrived, and was nothing short of professional the entire time he was at our home. He even answered a follow up question I had a couple weeks after the install, and at his suggestion I purchased a long term radon monitor based on our particular circumstances. After a week of monitoring, the radon levels are significantly lower than the initial (pre-install) test showed and well within the normal/healthy

JD Kline was fabulous! He got our inspection done very promptly and provide a lot of detailed information in his report. He provided us with recommendations for other inspections that we would have never thought to do, which were extremely important in helping us to make a decision on our home. He even provided recommendations on how to properly care for certain items on the property. We used him for rural property and he gave very detailed information. He was able to give us some detailed recommendations on the foundation of the home, grade, and drainage. He got up on the roof, which was important

After having a radon test conducted by another inspector, we hired JD to come out and install our radon mitigation system.
The interior design of our home is complicated, so installing the system through the inside wasn't going to work. He did a wonderful job of working with us to place the system in a location that wouldn't be an eyesore from the street.
