My Joy in health and therapy developed 30 years ago as a License Practical Nurse. Potomac Massage Training Institute located in Downtown Silver Spring Maryland is where I experienced 2 years of learning in modalities such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Bio Dynamic Cranial Sacral, Shiatsu, Trager and Spa Hydrotherapy.

Forever Joy Massage Therapy provides therapeutic massage and bodywork for the enhancement of health and well-being to healthy-minded individuals. The massage therapy given here is for deep relaxation, stress management, reduction of muscular tension and developing personal awareness of self-care. We are dedicated to provide our clients with nurturing treatments and continue education to promote relaxation and self-care.

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and includes relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Client should maintain personal hygiene, showering before your session is not required, however recommend. In keeping with our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is sanitized to medical standards after every service and treatment. For table sessions client should undress to the extent of their personal comfort level.

Respectfully we ask that you provide us with a 24 hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 24 hour notice we are often unable to fill that appointment time. This is an inconvenience and also means our other clients miss the chance to receive services they need.
