The old route 66 memorabilia that is all around here is really cool. From the old car and gas pumps outside to all the old stuff inside it is a sight to see. The floor in our room looked new but there were some repairs needed to the walls and our bedspread was dirty and needed replaced.

It's like having 100 roommates who all judge each other for being there but will come back to do it again... And again. Pretty sure it's gonna have a township soon, and I plan to run for mayor. Take a chance with chance. 2022 is our year, even if we don't remember it. Thank ya.

It has five star materials and a five-star background but what it has become now is a motel and it has accepted what it has become which is sad there is also a lot of drama and it has poor electrical wiring that may become an issue with too many people plug in too many electronics.... Considering all this issues I say it's more than overpriced and if you intend to stay long term they do not intend to provide you with a change of toilet paper sheets and other basic materials if they can get away with it there are a lot of drug users both who stay infrequent the parking lot as hangers-on in the area

Route 66 hotel was built in the late 50's or early 60's, 60 or 70 years ago, and it shows. The positive about this hotel is, it's a very cool hotel with a huge outdoor pool. The negative about this hotel is 1) VERY thin walls, 2) stains on the carpets in the hallway 3) cracked tiles on the wall 4) blankets, linen, sheets, and pillows look to be original from when the hotel opened 5) empty liquor bottles and beer bottles in the parking lot. 6) smells like cigarette smoke in the hotel room and in the hallway. They are in the middle of TRYING to remodel, hopefully management will see this review,

Booked a place to have fun for the weekend. Went in the room and it had a STRONG smell of hot garbage and mildew! The wall on the baseboard was completely taken off.. The sink in the bathroom was literally rusted out where the drain is… only good thing is the man at the desk was able to refund it. I would sleep in my car or outside Before I ever in my life sleep in a place as nasty as that…
This place looks like it has bed bug vibes

We love rt 66 and were looking forward to celebrating my birthday in the jacuzzi suite. I think the manager has good intentions and they were very nice but I cannot recommend staying here. The hotel smelled terrible. We got a non-smoking executive suite and the room smelled of both smoke and chemicals. We couldn't stay because it was giving us a headache. When we got in the car we could still smell the hotel on our clothes. Our room was not clean when we arrived and I will not go into details but it was gross. We asked the front desk for our room to be cleaned while we were at dinner but that did

If I could give this zero stars I would. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke though it was supposed to be a smoke free hotel. The sheets were stained, towel hook broken, etc. t
To make matters worse we got into bed and there were BEDBUGS! We told the night clerk who said to talk to the manager in the morning. We checked out at 10:30pm and went to a new hotel that was bed-bug free. Talked to the manager in the morning and they said there is no evidence of bed bugs. We have video and photos though. The hotel issued a refund but won't admit to the bedbugs. Not worth the cheap price. Pay $30 more

Was super excited to stay here, boy was I extremely disappointed!. the smell was terrible, the rooms were bad. full of drug abusers, had a female wondering around in a daze that had urinated on herself and fighting with her crack head boy toy over the money they waisted on drugs. she later began pounding on guest doors at 3 am.
did not get any rest nor enjoy the stay. 5 negative stars !

Unbelievable!

This place is not only filthy, but is laughable as well. We checked in and were given another guest's room. The room was nasty, so they offered us another room, which was cleaner but smelled worse. We were then offered a third "jacuzzi" room that was humid and damp and stunk as well. They finally offered us one of their "marketing" rooms, you know, the ones they take pictures of for promotional purposes...

I had read this was the first Holiday Inn on Route 66. I was sure that was true after I saw the pillows that looked to be that old as well. Unbelievably

Don't. Upon arrival, we were approached by a young pregnant girl in the parking lot asking if we had a light for her cigarette. In checking in, the power was out and no one was at the front desk. So we left and had lunch at the Golden Corral down the street (nasty, don't do that either). Went back to check in and there was a person sleeping on the front bench outside, told the clerk and he just shrugged it off. Looked at the restaurant inside and instantly walked back out. Saw a couple of drug deals going on in the parking lot. This is basically a transient flophouse. Stick with a major

So as soon you walk in the front door you can tell you are paying (less then $100) for a king room. If you walk into the downtown Reno casino you get that strong smell of cigarette smoke....that's the smell! As I walk to my room down the hall way the smoke was still in the air and it followed me all the way into my room. I would not walk around with nothing on your feet here....wash your hands after touching anything. The bar didn't have much of a selection ( unless your choice is bud beers). The decor that is all around the walls inside is cool...but that can be done by just coming

This place sucks. Dirty, out dated and smelly. The bathroom looked original from the 60s. The lobby was nice and deceiving. I couldn't actually sleep in the bed. I tried but I just started itching so my rest there was very limited. Pass on this one folks. I went to the comfort inn down the street for my second night in Springfield.

Spacious rooms at a good rate.
The hotel staff was quick to attend to our needs.

I like the layout of the hotel.

Some of the inside siding upstairs could be replaced, but the rooms are clean and great location.

Nice and comfortable room. Older nostalgic hotel and not updated but the rooms are comfortable and functional. Great bar and entertainment.

Some silly things wrong like the outlets on the table lamps didn't work. Since I'm not a pansy it wasn't a major inconvenience.

Loved the cars and other items related to Route 66.

Relax your standards and enjoy the atmosphere and you will have a good time.

If you're looking for a hotel with all the amenities, this is not the place for you. No shampoo. Basic rooms. No elevator to the second floor. However, if you're looking for something classic and are a car travel buff, check this place out. The halls are filled with travel and racing memorabilia. The lounge is as well. Worth a stop, even if you don't stay, as the lounge is open to the public.

Recently renovated, clean rooms with nice showers and microwaves/refrigerators in each. Pleasant Americana decor and decent restaurant and bar inside. Great for the price.

Also, a huge upgrade compared to the Mansion View Inn, where I stayed a month or so ago for close to the same price. That place was a nightmare.

I had some doubts when we walked up to our room. It obviously used to be a motel style place with an exterior walkway with exterior doors to all the rooms but they have enclosed it - and the hallway left something to be desired for sure.

We were pleasantly surprised with our king room for $69. It was clean, modernized with newer carpet and a NICE bathroom plus a mini fridge.

Loved the Donnie B's lounge and comedy show located in the hotel as well.

The hotel has a restaurant also but it seems that it is closed during slow season so we didn't try it.
