Dr. Brown was born into a family of orthodontists and raised in Birmingham, Michigan. He completed his undergraduate career at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and made stops in Massachusetts and Florida learning dentistry and orthodontics before settling in Washington.
As the son of an orthodontist, watching his father and the joy his work brought to the lives of his patients left a lasting mark, and Dr. Brown is excited to continue that legacy.Dr. Brown has 3 simple rules: be efficient in his treatment, open in his communication and compassionate in his care.

Our doctors believe the first visit is the most important visit of your entire orthodontic journey. At this visit you will be introduced to our office and all that it has to offer. Our doctors do not believe in "cookie cutter" smiles. Each person has unique issues and desires. Drs. Brown and Huang work to understand what is important to our patients and formulate a treatment plan based around those desires.
Metal Traditional metal braces are the most commonly used orthodontic appliance. They have withstood the test of time because so much is possible and advances are constantly made to improve life with braces. The brackets have become more esthetic and smaller, yielding less mouth irritation and more comfort overall.

My daughter had to get braces amidst the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we had to switch orthodontists due to our old orthodontist retiring. It was a very confusing time, but Dr. Brown and the other staff was very patient, helpful, and always well prepared. Overall, it was an amazing experience, would definitely recommend.

I had my braces through Factoria orthodontics back in middle school and that all was great! Now (years later) I had to come in to replace my bottom retainer and the process has been so quick and easy. I left a message on the website over the weekend and was called in the morning on Monday. From that call I scheduled both my appointments needed to replace the retainer. The best part about this was that instead of the impressions method for retainers, my teeth were 3D scanned which was a ton more comfortable and took no more than 5 minutes. Factoria Orthodontic’s retainers are also super affordable

I can not state enough, how pleasant my experience with Factoria Orthodontics has been. Everyone there is great and everything that I might need was told to me up front and very honestly. The space is very clean and welcoming, I fell that they genuinely care about me and my teeth.I will suggest Factoria Orthodontics to anyone looking for orthodontia on the Eastside.

I started my journey with Dr. Fiddler(now retired) and completed my journey with Dr. Brown. There was a seamless transition and both were amazing! It was clear that Dr. Fiddler really cared about his patients and help guide me though so many decisions. Dr. Brown is listener, and really took the time to understand my perspective. Shout out to the orthodontic assistants, too many to name, who really helped make everything comfortable.
