Unlike "captive" or "one company" agents, we are not tied to just one insurance company. We offer many plans through many companies, giving our client a broad range of coverage at a competitive price. I was born and raised in Burlington with my two older sisters, Cindy and Lori. My parents lived in town in my childhood home up until 2017. I graduated from Lewis Mills in 1997, where one of my best friends was Jeremy, Bruce's oldest son (Jeremy is still one of my closest friends). I still have many fond memories from growing up in Burlington that involve not just Jeremy, but Bruce and the entire Flax family, as well.

As a Burlington resident for over 32 years, I attended Center School through Lewis Mills. I feel fortunate to have grown up in this beautiful town, and also raise my own children here. After 21 years as a licensed agent in 48 states for The Hartford/AARP sales and service, I am excited to help customers in my hometown and in the state of Connecticut.

I have been in the insurance business since 1980. For many years I worked as a field representative for The Hartford, and visited many Independent Agents, speaking with many of their clients personally. A common desire for the clients was that they wanted to talk to the same person, especially at claim time; even years ago people wanted personal attention.
