I'm Emily, the owner and photographer for Emily Moncus Photography. I was born and raised in Southern Georgia. I started my photography journey in Omaha, Nebraska and continued it in Dallas, Texas. I know what your thinking, "Wow, you get around", and you'd be right! My husband was military for 8 years, but I was a banker during that portion of our lives.
We provide newborn photographer services to the Greenville and Spartanburg area. The length of the Newborn session depends on the package you purchase. Sometimes we finish earlier and sometimes run over. It all depends on how your baby is feeling that day. I recommend not scheduling any other appointments immediately after your session in case we run over.
I recommend scheduling your maternity session between 28-35 weeks. This is the time you are showing but are not yet in the last few uncomfortable weeks of your pregnancy. This also gives us time to reschedule if we have inclement weather. Weekend availability is limited, so it is better to book sooner than later.
We provide Cake Smash photographer services to the Greenville and Spartanburg area. Your child's first year goes so fast! They grow so quickly. What would be more fun than celebrating their first birthday with a custom cake smash and first birthday photo session?! Your child's session will include a custom design that we plan together!
We provide milestone photographer services to the Greenville and Spartanburg area. Every milestone session is unique because every person or family is unique, but some specific steps in the process remain the same. One common goal is that we set out to create some beautiful portraits for you to treasure and to have fun in the process.

Absolutely love Emily and will always keep coming back. She is the most patience person, whether it be a newborn or a rambunctious toddler and always keeps things fun. She has captured some of my absolute favorite pictures of my little ones and they have always left happy and more than willing to come back. She even played ice cream with my 3 yr old to get her to corporate for a few pictures and they couldn’t have turned out more perfect. She is the absolute sweetest and you can tell she is doing what she loves.

"All I can say is WOW! Emily is amazing. The entire experience with Emily was easy, fun, and dare I say... Relaxing?! I was nervous to take my 1 week old baby for a photo shoot because I had no idea how she would act. I was worried she'd be fussy and crying the whole time and we wouldn't end up with great photos. Emily is a baby whisperer. She took such great care of our baby during the shoot and my husband and I were able to just sit back, relax and watch this exciting experience. We didn't have to do anything! Now on to the photos.. She perfectly captured our daughter. They are the most beautiful

OBSESSED is an understatement!
The only negative is there are SO many good photos that come out of the sessions I spent hours trying to decide!!

Emily is the best photographer I have ever worked with! She answered all my questions and always responded very quickly! Her energy on shoots is amazing and she isn't afraid to try something new. She did my maternity as well as my son's newborn photos and I am still in love with them! My only regret is that I didn't find her sooner so that she could've taken my daughter's newborn photos as well!

Emily did a mock birth photo shoot for me and a fellow doula. Low light birth photography is among the hardest types of photography and it’s not what Emily normally does but that didn’t phase her at all. She’s incredibly adaptable, sweet, and absolutely hilarious. It was easy to warm up to her and I send all my Greenville clients her way for newborn photography. The only disappointment I left with after the session was that I couldn’t keep her around longer to hang out with! 😂
