Services
Consult with individuals, corporations, attorneys, and insurance companies regarding building problems, defects, construction claims, and personal injuries related to architecture, design, construction, buildings, grounds, and development. Conduct research into codes, ordinances, and laws pertaining to architecture, construction related claims and litigation, ADA compliance, and personal injuries.
An architect, working with a computer programmer, created DataCAD back in 1984. The program was written from an architect's point of view for how CADD (computer-aided design and drafting) should specifically serve architects. Up until then, CADD programs had been written for the general drafting population.
Construction Oversight and Review Committee - Architect member (2002-present; chair 2009-present). Building Code Interpretation Committee (2012-present); committee provides advisory opinions about building codes used throughout the world.
David Porter feels strongly about giving of his expertise and experience to the next generation of contractors and architects, and in helping the school district run the best ship it can regarding architecture, design, and construction.
