When I started photography it came from a place of passion and something I genuinely loved doing. I decided to go to school for it to learn proper technique while living in New York. I started teaching them how to shoot because I wished someone would have helped me when I started out; someone who loved what they did for a living. Soon enough I realized that we had something here. 7 Engagement Session Tips We tend to get several recurring questions before engagement sessions, so we decided this week to make a blog post on important things you should know before your engagement session! This is a question that we often get when we're helping our clients with their wedding planning.
Do you need an engagement photography session? The simple answer would be "yes". But let me explain. Think about what an engagement really means. It means that you both have decided that this is the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with. An engagement session is more than just pretty pictures.
Before stepping out of the house for your engagement photography session, remember that the best (and least stressed) future brides and grooms are prepared ones! Tnk photo was extremely professional and responsive as well as flexible. We had such a fun time at our photo shoot. We had our 2 month old at the photo shoot and Elmer was extremely kind and patient with us. He was great at directing us and at choosing the photo locations. Our photos are amazing and we look forward to working with him again.

Wow! Where do I begin? I hired TNK photo for a family photo shoot. I have a huge family with all different personalities, 12 to be exact. Booking with Elmer was a breeze, he found a location that suited our needs and even was willing to fit us in on Thanksgiving day! He was not only professional but kind and I cant say enough about his patience. The quality of the pictures turned out amazing even on an exceptionally windy day! 10/10 would recommend Elmer and would use him again in the future :)

My husband and I would love to thank Elmer and his team(Ryan and Riley) for helping us capture such wonderful pictures of our wedding. We met Elmer and Riley at our engagement photos and they were absolutely amazing. Such friendly personality and very welcoming. We met Ryan at our wedding but he was equally as amazing. We are in awe with the amazingly beautiful photos. Thanks to them everytime I look back at the pictures I'm able to relive that night. Hands down will definitely try and book with them down the line for family, maternity photos.

I know Elmer from a wedding I attended a few years ago. When it my turn to get married I knew I wanted TNK to be the photographer. On June 22, 2021 Victor and I finally said “I do” ..surrounded by friends and family. And by family, I now include Elmer and his team. Elmer was professional, compassionate and his images captured proved his amazing gift to his craft. He captured amazing images that will be cherished a lifetime. On a personal note: thank you again for being so attentive and mindful when I was feeling fatigued throughout the day and making sure I rested and kept hydrated. We were introduced to TNK photo after we were left starstruck by mutual friends’ wedding photographs. My fiancé and I reached out to Elmer and his team for our maternity shoot. We met up in Orange County at a location which Elmer had already scouted. Our maternity shoot was also a family & engagement session (which we absolutely loved). We had not taken professional photographs together as a family and Elmer gave us an all-in-one and more! We were so happy with our photographs and were able to share them virtually with relatives in our home country. We knew we wanted Elmer to shoot our wedding

I am so happy I found TNK Photo! I spoke with Elmer after being laughed at by a couple of other photographers about the time of day our engagement was scheduled, and even our budget. Elmer responded to my online inquiry and answered all of my questions immediately, he was very professional and came up with solutions and a whole game plan for the photo shoot. That was such a relief. The day of our ceremony we felt so comfortable knowing who we were working with and the effort being put into our day. On top of this, our pictures turned out AMAZING! Elmer and his team (Derek was second shooter for our wedding) are BEYOND amazing. As a bride you have insane standards for what you expect for your wedding, and Elmer BLEW IT OUT OF THE WATER. Not only were his pictures amazing, but his attention to detail is u like anything I've ever seen. He made sure every single guest in every photo looked perfect by helping with their posing and outfit tweaks. We're talking about individual photos of about 100 people.. insane.
