Our accounting firm is a blend of two firms in the DFW Metroplex- Dana McGuffin CPA, PC and Knutson CPA, PLLC. In 2006, Dana McGuffin CPA, PC began in Bedford, Texas with the vision of helping small businesses and nonprofits beyond accounting services.
Our team of tax, bookkeeping and payroll professionals stands ready to enrich your life by helping find the missing piece in your business: PROFITS. Dana received her CPA in 1990. When "outsourced accounting" was first coming onto the small business scene in the 90's, she began providing bookkeeping, accounting, and CFO services for small to medium size businesses.
We previously used an accounting firm who didn't understand Quick Books Online or how to accomplish what we needed. I spent most of my time managing the accounting of the business, leaving only a small amount of time for operations and growth. I realized I needed a partner capable of handling our accounting needs and came to Dana McGuffin CPA.

They have done our family and my business taxes now for a few years. We are very pleased with their services. Honest, straight forward and detailed. As a Real Estate Agent, I like to make sure I am taking full advantage of my deductions yet also make sure I am not doing anything questionable. She keeps everything in line and I am pleased. I have had other CPA's that straddled a grey line, and I am a black and white person. I want to know it is RIGHT not just possible. She is always very forthright and keeps me from doing anything that may be questioned. Highly recommend.
