Bruce Ensor, Structural Engineer started in private practice in 2002 after serving as Chief Structural Engineer for Integrated Building Arts (IBA). Before working at IBA, Bruce lived and worked in Washington DC for Skidmore Owings and Merrill and then moved to Honolulu HI on the island of Oahu.
During his six years in the Hawaii, he worked as a Structural Design Engineer and Special Inspector for Martin & Bravo Inc., Sato and Associates and Shigemura, Lau, Sakanashi, Higuchi.Bruce formed the Professional Corporation, BE Structural, PC in 2007 and is located in Wormleysburg, PA. Bruce is certified as a Model Law Structural Engineer, MLSE, by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.

Any time a client brings us a non-traditional engineering opportunity, we must consider their value proposition and how we can meet their needs without compromising life and safety. This is especially true for the entertainment industry. At BE Structural, our team believes in making our clients' products safer and more accessible while at the same time, more exciting for their customers.
We provided structural engineering services and were the Engineer of Record for two 16ft tall by 17ft wide glass vestibules and one (1) transom lite on K St NW in Washington DC. We analyzed and designed glass greenhouses which varied in size according to the project.
Prior to analyzing the green house including the aluminum frames and supporting members, we had to calculate the physical and geometrical properties of the custom shapes of the greenhouse components.Once we had all the properties, we created a 3-d computer model of the greenhouse and applied loading in accordance to the required local jurisdiction.

Beware!!! Beware !!!! I hired BE structural to provide me with recommendations on repairs needed to my roof!!! After taking my money $500 first, they could not provide me with the information I needed, so when I asked for it, I was told it was more money to receive additional recommendations and then they still could not provide me with what I… needed when I offered to pay more ,,,the office told me they would have to speak to the owner about a refund,,, then never contacted me again,,, I had another engineer firm come out and provide me with what I needed in less than a hours time,,, I
