Surviving Our Losses (and Continuing Everyday), INC, also known as "S.O.L.A.C.E.," originally began in 2010 as a small grief support group in Portsmouth, Ohio for people who had suffered the loss of a loved one to the disease of addiction. This passionate group of people often traveled together seeking ways to prevent others from enduring the same loss and pain that they had experienced.

We offer Non-Intensive and Intensive Outpatient treatment for Substance Use Disorders (SUD) as well as Partial Hospitalization for women with Supervised Housing (New Leaf). We offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Mental Health (MH) Counseling. ASCEND provides comprehensve Medication Management for Mental Health Conditions.
Our behavioral health therapists assist clients seeking to change behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and how they see and understand situations. We provide expert care in general mental health, psychological trauma, adult and adolescent services. Services are provided primarily in our offices.

At ASCEND, we provide education on the disease of addiction and the process of recovery through individual counseling and group sessions facilitated by a licensed counselor. Programming for this Level of Care consists of individual and group counseling, random and routine urine drug testing, case management, peer support and participation in community recovery supports.
