The Counseling Center is the region's leader in behavioral healthcare. Our licensed behavioral and primary healthcare providers employ advanced treatments to help our patients achieve long-term mental and physical health goals. We are leading the way in shaping positive outcomes for mental health, substance use disorder, physical health, and recovery housing.
We believe recovery involves abstinence and a restoring of one's physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. All these issues must be addressed to create an opportunity for a person to reach their full potential and heal damaged relationships. Our Day One Center offers a calm atmosphere where friendly staff help clients start their recovery process.
All services are provided under the oversight of a local MD and recovery-trained nurse practitioners. The facility is continuously staffed by nurses with expertise in the recovery process and withdrawal management. Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) available on-site and ongoing into lower-levels of care as needed, following a medically-managed taper.
For men & women 18+ currently experiencing a mental health crisis who are seeking mental stability to begin their recovery journey. We are a residential facility specializing in providing care for individuals experiencing substance use and mental health related emergencies. The Crisis Center is a community resource for individuals experiencing acute substance use and mental health related emergencies.

I felt very unwelcomed as soon as I walked in the door. It was a few years ago and my dad and I were trying to find another therapist's office, but we thought we had the right one. It was the middle of winter and an older man near the front door snapped at me to take my hat off immediately after we walked in, while my dad was wearing a hat as well but he didn't say anything to him. Now that I'm looking for a better place to attend therapy at, this will definitely not be a considered practice.. First impressions make all the difference.
