My favorite Thai place. Their heat is one of the few that can actually make me sweat. I was disappointed to hear that someone complained about the heat so they had to reduce the levels. Glad they'll still do extra hot. Their food great apart from spiciness.

This place slaps! Spicy is correctly scaled, real good taste, noodles are caramelized and not gooey. The portions are large and I always end up with some to go. Service is excellent.

Ordered take out for lunch. It was my first time trying this restaurant. I wasn't overly impressed nor sadly disappointed. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and mild sauce along with a spring roll. I will maybe try them again not really sure at this point.

My coworkers and I order Pad Thai from here all the time. In the beginning, the food was great and we used to get large portions. Now every time we order we always get something missing. Sometimes there isnโ€™t enough sauce or made too spicy or less noodles. The portions are very little for the amount of money we pay. No hate or disrespect but itโ€™s not far to pay $40 and not be satisfied.

I've ordered from here many times and am always pleased. Every dish I've ordered has been delicious. The curry is nice and thick and loaded with flavor. If you prefer to make a couple substitutions, no problem. The spice level is a bit lacking by default if you like it very spicy. However, if you really stress to them that you want it hot, they will totally accommodate. I absolutely recommend this place.

Weโ€™re New Yorkers and accustomed to the most amazing Thai you can find ๐Ÿ˜‚ After trying 7-8 other local places we FINALLY found Thai King and I have to say, it sets the bar! The curries are soooooo good. Try it, you wont regret.

4/5/2019. Tonight was date night.. and my husband has never had Thai. We had some Hot and Sour Soup and Chicken and Rice. He ordered drunken noodles with beef and I had Kow Pad King. It was amazing... and hot is HOT. So so wonderful with spring rolls, and Crab Ragoon.. and the boom boom sauce was so delish! This will be our new date night dinner place! Thank you Thai King for your amazing food and great service!

We placed a carry out order at 5:45pm and they said it will be ready in 25 minutes. We get there a half hour later and they hadn't even started yet. ONE HOUR later and it's finally done. They didn't even offer to throw in a free appetizer or give us a discount. And to top it off our order was wrong! Terrible, awful service. We definitely won't be eating here again.

This is the best Thai food in Detroit on the east side by far I've eaten at most every type food restaurant around and always find myself coming back to taking in Sterling Heights

We eat Thai food about once a month and we decided to try this one since it's a mile away from home. Ewww eww and ewww it was pure salt!!!! We got pad se ew and it was the nastiest Thai food I've ever eaten. We also got the hot and sour soup and it tasted like they put buffalo sauce on there. Overall this place was gross!

This was my first visit at Thai King, the place is small but the food is outstanding. I got the red vegetable curry with medium spice level. It was actually spicy but very delicious. One of the better vegetable curry I have had. My friend got fired chicken wings and they were also good, tender and flavorful. The meat fell off the bone. This is definitely my new favorite Thai place.

This is one of those restaurants where some things are better than others as opposed to everything being good.
I had the pad Thai which was strictly average.
Others in my party had the curry which they enjoyed and my taste of it was enjoyable.
Biggest plus huge portions . You will have to experiment to find what they do best but if you are successful you may have a definite go to Thai place on the east side.

Green curry with chicken they let me sub veggies for veggies so I got mushrooms green peppers carrots eggplants and extra spicy and I asked for rice in a separate container so it don't get soggy and no extra charge like other places. It was actually very good I am beginning to like this place again. The extra spicy was Thai hot so be careful. Very good

The food was fast and tasted very fresh. I ordered a few of my favorites and they were all very tasty! The portions sizes are huge for the price. I ordered chicken curry noodles add broccoli extra hot, 2 spring rolls and a hot and sour soup and my total came to $15! Definitely enough for 2 full meals. I'm glad I ordered extra hot, it was pretty spicy but I could've used a little more.. I added some spices of my own when I got home.

The other food looked good but have to do two stars because they do not offer any vegan options whatsoever. They will not make any curries without fish sauce and we were offered no other vegan options. Sooo we left. Just wanted to leave a note for other vegans out there!

I typically get the fried Rice dishes. If you like your fried rice more well done and 'fried' they cook the rice a bit more and darker and crispier than any other Thai place in north metro Detroit that I've been. Fair price, and portions. I recommend this place to friends and coworkers. I got k5 ( Thai chili paste fried rice). I like to add potatoes and peanuts. They're pretty good with customization. I get xxspicy and their spice hits hard so you have been warned.

This was a nice little surprise to find today - mixed reviews but it sounds like there may have a few turn overs in ownership? Not sure. That said, my colleague and I enjoyed a nice lunch. The curries had big flavor and honestly quite tasty as well. Very glad we stumbled in here today. The service was also well worth noting - she was slammed but didn't miss a beat!! Bookmarked this puppy!

1st time I've been here since the new owners. I suspect the new owners are one in the same as the Chinese Restaurant next door. The Thai food I picked up and ate was so Chinese, not Thai.

The Pad See Ew is supposed to be a thick sweet brown sauce with whatever spice you want. There was nothing sweet about it. It totally tastes like soy sauce. And the Thai fried rice I got, was Chinese fried rice, no question about it. Again, the soy taste. The meat chewed weird, like it was boiled.

I will not be visiting this restaurant again, ever. If you want Chinese food, eat here.

Five stars for the service. Three for the food. I didn't use atmosphere in the star rating because we did take out. However, I will talk about it.

The set up is pretty simple. You order and pay for your food. Then wait at a table to dine in or wait to carry out. My husband and I carried out. It was late at night and the time it took for our food to be made was very fast. There was a table of 2 in the dining room. The dining room looked a lot like a typical Subway restaurant dining room with the particle board booths. What I saw of the place looked clean.

The service impressed me. I&apos
