The cervical spine is a very common place where people experience pain. There are many vulnerable structures running through this area. It is no wonder that people become very afraid when they start to have neck pain. Pain in the neck can lead to some debilitating times considering we are almost always needing to move it.
If a shoulder problem is keeping you from doing normal activities, it is important to get it evaluated and treated as soon as possible. A physical therapist can determine if there is a serious shoulder injury and can come up with a shoulder pain treatment plan to meet your specific needs. A physical therapist can also recommend if you need any further imaging to your sore shoulder.

Thanks to Justin, I'm finally (almost!) back to running. When I came in to Thompson Physical Therapy, I hadn't been able to run for almost a year. I couldn't run without reactivating nerve pain in my hip/lower back, and I was really frustrated. I was stuck in a recovery plan that wasn't working and I had no immediate outlook or definitive path to get back to running. However, in my first visit with Justin, he gave me a new stretch to increase mobility in the hip capsule that immediately improved the pain I was feeling. On future visits, he analyzed my stride on the treadmill, provided a regimen

Dr. Justin helped diagnose, treat, and helped me build back my fitness after a chronic injury that left me limited in my daily activities as well as my running. The hour long appointments were so helpful in getting to the root of the problem and gave us plenty of time to discuss and work on a strengthening routine. A few appointments later, I was able to build back to running and I look forward to racing without pain soon! Dr. Justin’s knowledge and patience were invaluable - wish I had gone to see him earlier!

I had a fantastic experience with Justin at Thompson Physical Therapy. When I began working with Justin, I was experiencing an Achilles injury which was hampering my training for my first marathon. At my first consult, Justin provided a proper diagnosis, and identified weaknesses in my running form that may have caused the injury to occur. He provided me a number of rehabilitation exercises that enabled me to continue training effectively through race day. Most importantly, Justin was very responsive to communication, offering guidance throughout the training cycle, and even provided a return-to

I began a physical therapy program with Justin after a period of hospitalization for autoimmune disease that had left me with weakness and feeling prone to injury. Justin identified specific areas to be targeted and through a home program and weekly visits, I made very fast progress with my strength and endurance. I am now on my way to being able to exercise the way I have in the past. I can not recommend Justin enough. He is thorough, organized, easy to work with and provides therapy that is highly personalized. Thank you so much Justin!

I called to schedule an appointment for PT and got their voicemail. I left a message telling them that I saw that they had a 5 star review and wanted to go with the best and left my information for someone to call me back. That was over a week ago. I have never heard back from anyone. There goes the 5 star review. Bad customer service is just the first sign. Let's see if they post this review on their website. I went with another physical therapy group.

I was having a major hip issue and tried self care for quite some time before going to see Justin. I chose Thompson Physical Therapy because I have watched his videos and really like his approach to healing. Justin did my evaluation, went over all the exercises to make sure I was doing them correctly and I did each of them faithfully. I only had 4 visits and I am free of the hip pain! Thank you Justin for all of your hard work!

I went to Justin because my shoulder has been painful and over time the range of motion on that side became limited. Arranging to meet was simple and fit into my schedule.
During the initial evaluation Justin listened to my explanation of what I felt in the joint and what I wanted to accomplish as well as a clinical evaluation of the shoulder movement. Together we developed a plan to reach that goal.
Between the in-office treatments and "homework" exercises we improved mobility beyond my expectations. We also discussed ways I can continue to improve and keep the improvements.

Justin Thompson is the best physical therapist I've ever met (coming from a person who has had PT done to them several times). Justin provides excellent service, listens to what you have to say, and is really enthusiastic/professional about wanting to help you out. I was recovering from a ligament reconstruction surgery i had done to my knee and after his 3 month recovery plan, my knee has never felt better. I highly recommend Justin Thompson to anyone that needs physical therapy 10/10 hands down.

I am so happy that I started to work with Justin at Thompson Physical Therapy. I went into his office feeling discouraged, in pain and unsure when I could return to running. Having qualified for the 2020 Boston marathon, I had doubts I'd be able to train for it.
I left my first appointment feeling encouraged and empowered. Justin was able to diagnose my injury quickly, come up with a treatment plan and estimated I would be back to running in just a few weeks! To be honest I had my doubts when he said, "a few weeks". But trust him. He knows what he is doing!
