What is Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN)? Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) is not acupuncture. TDN is a procedure in which a very fine monofilament needle is inserted into the skin and muscle directly at a myofascial trigger point to decrease pain. A myofascial trigger point consists of multiple contraction knots, which are related to the production and maintenance of the pain cycle.

I can only say how grateful I am for Myra. I thought I would never have a good quality of life again, accepting that my health issues were just a part of getting older. Of course, I am not 20 anymore, but, with Myra's guidance and work on my part, and determination from the both of us, my life has dramatically changed for the better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And the staff? All polite, all friendly, all wonderful!

I was treated by Dr. Shaunna Mayers at Progress Physical Therapy for post partum diastasis recti, and had a great experience. Shaunna truly cared about my well being and the progress I was making. Her feedback in every session was very helpful to understand what I was doing right and things I needed to work on. I highly recommend Shaunna Mayers and Progress Physical Therapy!

I had been struggling for over a year with complicated gut and prolapse issues when I came to Shaunna. She has done an amazing job assessing and treating my issues and providing holistic guidance and support as well as skillful fascial work, and I am finally feeling so good! I’ve seen what physical therapy can do for gut and bowel issues, and her expertise and care have made all the difference in my recovery. I have also greatly benefited from Progress’ Restore pelvic floor program, and have found their office and staff top-notch. Five stars!

I was treated at Progress Physical Therapy for tennis elbow - after I was told to completely immobilize the joint for an extended period of time by an orthopedist. When I got a 2nd opinion and was referred to Progress, I was in tremendous pain and feared I needed surgery. I was treated by David and I gained mobility and pain relief after only a few sessions. I was pain free and back to normal in about 2 months. In addition to treating my afflicted elbow, David focused on balancing out strength, mobility and flexibility on both sides to counteract my having favored by bad elbow for so long. Truth

From the welcoming reception staff to the extremely knowledgeable PT's, the Progress team works together to provide a great patient experience. I have worked with Kelly, Myra, and Shauna and all listen to what I have to say and thoughtfully tailor my treatment plan based on their knowledge and years of experience. We adjust when needed and continue to work toward my end goal together. I also appreciate that appointments run on time and they maintain a cancellation call list to help work in patients as quickly as possible. Thanks Progress!

The highly skilled and caring staff at Progress Physical Therapy has treated me for mechanical issues--knee, shoulder, neck-and most recently, after an accident, vestibular/balance issues. They have enabled me to continue to do the activities I want to do and generally improved my life. One of the things I value most is that they approach issues from an overall wellness perspective--not just fixing the specific problem, but focusing on strength and health to avoid future issues. Also importantly, with my permission, the practitioners collaborate , so that the person treating me for vestibular issues

I would strongly consider another place for your PT. Perhaps this place was good years ago however I went 3x., first visit was ok and fairly thorough after that it went completely downhill . I was literally there for less than 10 minutes with basically no therapy given. I have never been to PT so was unsure if this is normal . After finally going to another facility in the area what an incredible difference. One hour each visit with multiple types of treatment from electric stim and heat to trigger therapy and stretching to exercises etc. basically none of which I received at Progress. I would
