Services
Active Learning Center was established in November of 1999, by Lloyd Beal and his Mother Cherry Beal. Lloyd and Cherry wanted to make a difference in the childcare world by offering a unique kind of quality care. Lloyd and Cherry wanted to create not only a safe, learning and loving environment, but they also wanted to make true friendships and relationships with each family that entrusted them with their children.
Our before and after school school-age program focuses on supporting your child's education. We provide a homework area to help make your child's studies easier, and we encourage teamwork and problem solving throughout the classroom. The school-age classroom is very spacious including a homework area for independent or group study and a separate cubby and coat area for each child to organize their personal belongings.

As a father of four beautiful children I truly understand the importance of TRUSTING a provider to care for your child. As parents, we love our children so deeply, and we need the peace of mind that we've found a center where the staff truly cares about our children.

Our infant program focuses on each infant's growth and development by including daily activities for physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. Our "family team" of teachers encourages the infants to develop their motor, language and social skills each day! The infants' classroom is set up in a "home-like" environment.
