A home inspection is a visual assessment of most all readily accessible areas of the home. It is detailed, comprehensive, and unbiased. It is not an appraisal or Municipal code inspection. The inspection conforms to the standards of practice established by the Indiana State Licensing Agency and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors.

A complete home inspection is a comprehensive visual inspection of readily accessible areas of the home. It consists of an inspection of the general exterior and interior of the home, heating/cooling, electrical, plumbing, attic, and foundation. The inspection also describes the condition and operability of kitchen appliances, doors and windows, GFCI's, and other items.
We provide Infrared/Thermal Inspections, using a Fluke TiR-1 thermal imager. The inspection includes a thermal scan of the interior of the home, and in some cases, areas of the exterior. With the right conditions, a thermal scan can show a multitude of deficiencies not visible in the visible light spectrum.

Star Home Inspections went above and beyond anything I could have asked for in a home inspector. I called for a home inspection and as soon as I talked to the owner, Star, I had a good feeling. James came out to the home the day after Christmas and told me exactly what was wrong or was concerning. He was thorough in all he did and explained everything to me in a language I could understand. He gave me plenty of insight and because of his inspection and professional knowledge, I was able to get the upgrades I needed to have a safe home/ good investment. I will be a returning customer in a few years
