Dr. Salm graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2006 and completed a residency at Marquette the following year. He is a Wisconsin native and currently lives in Waukesha with his family; Dr. Salm's wife Rashell, daughters Tallula and Zoe Lily, and son Oliver. Dr. Salm loves practicing dentistry because it allows him an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others and their entire family.

I was in today for the first time in a few years & was a bit nervous. The hygienist I had was SO sweet, and I really liked her! She was patient, and knowing I have TMJ kept asking during the cleaning how I was doing. It was great to know my needs weren’t forgotten about! The music also was great. I almost started singing in the lobby. Dr Salm was also very friendly as usual, and I couldn’t be happier with my visit. From the desk staff and dental staff, start to finish I had a very enjoyable trip to the dentist. Thank you!

It was super easy getting an appointment. The staff was awesome. So much care and concern for patients. Very welcoming. The work I had done by Dr. Salm was amazingly easy and as pain free as possible. The end result was everything i had hoped for. Very professional and extremely detail oriented. Highly recommend Dr.Salm and his staff.

After a long period of neglecting my teeth I saw Jill and Dr Salm this morning to get a cleaning and consultation on future work. They were super nice and struck a good balance between not making me feel bad about the shape of my teeth and making sure I knew what I needed to do going forward.
The office is beautiful and everyone I worked with there has been super friendly. I was expecting a pretty huge estimate for the future work just because the office is so nice and all the equipment is obviously quite new and up-to-date but I was pleasantly surprised at the quote.

I Loved the teeth cleaning I received from Jill 2-19-2019. She did a thorough job. My teeth felt so clean and smooth. I liked how she polished my teeth she made sure the polishing tool worked between the teeth as well as just the top surfaces of the teeth. She has a nice personality too. She is a keeper, Dr. Salm!

A great experience. Joe the dental hygienist did a great job discussing all my needs. She made sure that I understood all of the necessary care that I needed for my teeth. Dr. Salm, it's been a large amount of time talking to me about potential issues that I have with my teeth. He spent more time with me than most dentists have in the past and I really appreciated this.

I used to see Dr. Moser who owned the practice previously. My first impression was really good. The receptionists were friendly when checking me in and the new office appearance looked great. That quickly changed for me once I met my hygienist. She was friendly at first when I was talking about how the office looked and then as soon as she looked at my teeth that changed. She literally told me she "smelled" an infection in my mouth and said she used to work oral surgery before dr. Salm and she "could tell I had an active infection". Now meeting Dr. Salm, he did change my opinion

Excellent patient care! I’ve been a patient for two years who has less than perfect teeth and there’s no judgement. Friendly staff, the new office space is wonderful and the whole office really does care about… every case. Financial obligations are explained well so there’s typically no surprises. I can’t recommend Dr. Salm and this staff enough.

The staff seems to genuinely like working there which in my mind is the biggest statement ever!! I feel like I’m in great hands! Today I was amazed because Dr. Salam was able to diagnose a potential issue with… my teeth even before it became a problem which will save me thousands later on! I literally had no idea I had an issue until they pointed it out— at this point it’s barely noticeable!!! No other dentist who I have been to in the past has ever mentioned it which kind of irritates me bc if a problem can be avoided why not bring it up!! I definitely trust him 1000%

No one enjoys going to the dentist but the experience I have had at Smiles for Miles is always a positive one. The front office staff has always been friendly and outgoing and have always offered to do the pre-estimate of insurance coverage.
Dr.Salm is thorough, patient, and just a friendly guy who makes you feel comfortable. From what I have observed he is professional and kind to his staff which is always nice to see.
I would highly recommend visiting this place!

Dental care can be pain and anxiety-free. Dr. Salm is a top-notch dentist, he is personable and technically adept! The entire staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable, from the warm welcoming from the front desk, to efficient cleanings, and thorough exams. By far the best dentists I've ever seen! I highly recommend this dental office for all ages. Our family of four is new to the area and needed to find a dental office. We all have had four great experiences. The staff is fantastic- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Amy went above and beyond to accommodate our hectic and limited schedule. Dr. Salm is personable, skilled and talented. He and his staff made our procedures comfortable and easy. He took the extra time to answer all questions and concerns. Their office is caring and professional. We will definitely return!

I would give Dr. Salm and his team 5 stars! They are always kind, even when the office is busy, and they take the time to explain things that are important to me.
I had 2 cavities that needed to be drilled. I was quite frightened about the prospect of him drilling and the anesthetic, etc. But Dr. Salm put me at ease and I did not experience any pain.
I highly recommend their services!

Dr. Salm and his staff are just excellent, including my special needs daughter. The staff is friendly, very helpful with insurance issues, making Recommendations and offering alternatives (due to time of year - end of year). Always concerned about comfort and Dr. Salm follows up with phone calls (very personable and concerned).
