Services
Wellness visits include a thorough exam, screening tests based on your pet's individual needs and lifestyle, and vaccination protocols based on your pet's individual risks. Dogs and cats age more rapidly than people do. We offer a variety of surgical services ranging from routine spays and neuters, dental procedures to more complex abdominal, gastrointestinal, urinary tract, and soft tissue surgeries.

We appreciate Apple Country so, so much! We have two dogs and two cats, so we're here a lot; and we've been so grateful for how well Apple Country has adapted to the pandemic. Our interactions with the staff have been unbelievably positive, even when conditions are too risky to go into the office and we're just talking on the phone with them from the car. They're all wonderful and put us and our pets at ease during every interaction with them. I also love that they use PetDesk to let us request appointments and order prescriptions via app - so much better than having to call

They have taken such good care of my dog, they are devoted ,caring, and companionate people. I can't say enough they are the finest group of doctors. . They take the time to take care of the owners as well as the animal. I would give them 10 stars if i could!

Made an appointment for my mom 's dog and thought maybe i would try them with my pup... the not so nice girl told me we dont service people from your area .... ????? Clinton whats up with that it is not like they are coming to me, lol... rude!!!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better place with more kindhearted people to care for my dog. From routine healthy visits to more recently helping us navigate a diagnosis with a poor prognosis and eventual supportive care, they went above and beyond. I’m forever grateful for their knowledge, constant communication, and genuine compassion that helped my dog (and me) get through an incredibly difficult time. Highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking for care for their pet.

Apple Country is always thorough and compassionate with my animals. I have one cat that is a serious challenge to exam and Dr. Wright and his team get it done every time! Dr. Coldwell sees my other cat and she is so compassionate and caring. Both doctors are extremely thorough and are also realistic with the needs of my animals. They work with me to find the best solution for my animals. Thank you to all of you for all you do for us.

I've lived in Maynard almost my entire life and I never knew this place existed right on the edge of Maynard leading into Stow. I decided to try Apple country to finally get my grandpa cat Johnny microchipped after he went deaf at the age of 15. They treated my grandpa cat like the king he is. They were cautiously friendly with him until I told them he was a loving boy that loved scratches pats and then they gave him lots of loving. They gave him an extensive check up and told me he had some plaque and tartar going on and proceeded to give me list of products that would help him get rid of

As a first time dog owner, I was very nervous about finding a veterinarian/ animal hospital that would guide me through dog ownership. Peanut, my pug means the world to me, and I would do anything to keep her healthy and happy. I am so grateful for the entire staff, as they answered all of my questions via email, phone, and in person. Peanut's first physical went extremely well, even during COVID times when I talked to the vet over the phone while not face to face. My first experience with Apple Country was when I brought our 5 week old GSP rescue puppy over 2 years ago for a complete examination. Poor puppy was a mess. They took such great care of her then and continue to do so. Because Remi needed to visit so frequently as a puppy, she was seen by all of the docs at one time or another. They are all fantastic, as well as all of the staff and we are very fortunate to have found them. Remi actually enjoys going to the vet!! Highly recommend!!

Apple Country Animal Hospital is fantastic! We've been working with them well over ten years and all of our animals have been cared for with excellent care, respect, and interest. Our pit mix Jolly was treated like royalty, and when it was time to say goodbye to her, many of the staff came to sit with us as she was put to sleep; cried with us, held her paw, and helped her pass surrounded by those who cared for her. It was a beautiful passing. The folks at the front desk are friendly, fun to hang out with while you're waiting to be seen and KNOWLEDGABLE! Great resources! The vets are outstanding

This review is long overdue. Apple Country is First Class! The care everyone at ACAH gave/giving my dog (Brady) is second to none. He is a tough patient to deal with but they are amazing to him. They truly treat him the way any parent would want their pet to be treated. Especially the Vet Techs, Andrea and Kalin! Dr. Manley and Dr. Gould are very good vets as well! Thank you Apple Country

Our first trip to the vet with our cat was to Apple Country Animal Hospital, and we were very pleased with the service. Not having had a cat before, I wasn't sure how he would react to strangers after being crated for the ride; he was very calm and I feel the vet's experience also had a positive impact on his behavior. 4 stars because there was a snafu with the cat's lab test being misplaced and therefore never run, but we were given a refund to resolve the issue.

In the year my cat has been a patient of Apple Country, I have been very pleased with the advice of Dr.Manley and her staff. They offer alternatives to situations, while giving me the choice of how I want to move forward. I can tell they genuinely love their cat patients as much as their dog ones. My shy, sensitive cat is perfectly relaxed through any procedure she has had here.

I have been bringing my cat here since we moved to the area about 6 years ago. I learned of it from a friend that had used them for Chiropratic services for her dog.
I have always been pleased at the level of communication and the extent they go to help you understand any issues your pet may be having. Mine did for several years, but I was never pushed to do a million tests, nor was I made to feel bad when had decisions to make.
What I am completely impressed with was how amazing and compassionate they were when we had to make a decision to let our cat have her final rest :(. I won&apos

These vets are the best. I have been going to this animal hospital for over twenty years, and I still bring my dog there for regular care even though I've moved. There have been a few staffing changes in recent years, but the owner, Dr. Schaeffer, always seems to find the very best for her practice. I've been through the life cycle with a few pets here, and the doctors are always caring, sympathetic, and interested in extending life comfortably, but they never push a test or process that you can't afford.
