Services
We believe that our mental wellness should be maintained starting in childhood, by learning new coping and mindfulness skills early on and by continuing to practice them throughout life to maintain a healthy balanced life.
Our hope is that individuals view mental wellness as something to continue learning and practicing throughout life, even when life isn't stressful, so that they can put the skills and practices into place when they need it most.

Sage Recovery & Wellness offers online Continuing Education (CE) and networking events for healthcare professionals. Rachel Burgreen, LCSW-S, will present an overview of Radically Open DBT (RODBT) and Overcontrol. In this presentation you'll learn the difference between DBT and RODBT, how to assess for overcontrol and a few key skills to practice with your clients.
Please send cover letter with internship requirements (if applicable), educational interests, and resume to Careers@SageRecoveryAustin.com. Sage Recovery & Wellness Center strongly believes in supporting the education of upcoming professionals by serving as an educational site for students interested in the mental health and substance abuse field.
The holistic and trauma-informed services at Sage Recovery and Wellness Center are designed to allow for a custom-built individualized treatment plan ranging from a structured and intensive program to services chosen a la carte style all with the same thing in mind: provide the level and type of support that best fits your treatment needs.
Adolescent program offers a parent component with education, structure, and support led by PhD. We work with individuals and families to help them identify their goals to achieve or maintain mental wellness by providing an initial assessment and assisting the client in drafting a Roadmap to Wellness, a detailed plan of recommendations for assisting clients in reaching their individual goals.

If it would let me do zero stars I would. This was one of the worst experiences in all of my parenting. Our kid went here and from day one it seemed like a money grab but we kept hoping and assuming it would get better. It came highly recommended.
The counselors were making things up on the fly. They just kept nodding and saying "good point, good point." In group settings, we spent 15 minutes one day talking about ice cream flavors when the other parents were literally begging for guidance and advice. None. We got a ton of run around.
I went to law school and learned in law school that egregious

DO NOT GO HERE. Take your business anywhere else. The billing department will charge you for multiple appointments at once possibly weeks or months later. You will try to call the billing department to figure out what the charges are from because they don't send you the invoice only to get the run around from the newest company handling the accounting (there have been 5 different companies in 2 years). Then when they finally try to call you they call you from a blocked number that iPhones automatically send straight to voicemail. They know this they just don't care. They also tried over charging

I would give them no stars if I could. Stay away from this place, they will not refill your prescriptions for whatever you are diagnosed with without wanting you to come in and pay a copay. All they keep saying is that they have to check in on you to make sure everything is going as planned. If I'm telling you I'm out of medication and that I am doing great because it is helping why do I need to come in? I just told you everything is great which is why I need to continue my medication. This is a complete cash grab scheme! You have been warned!

As a former clinician, I wouldn’t hesitate to send my current clients here seeking mental health support and substance use treatment. They provide a thorough assessment and make appropriate recommendations for the best treatment fit. I also appreciate the diversity in the treatments provided. Sage truly cares about each and every person they serve.

Sage Recovery is really an impeccable treatment center. From admissions all the way through discharge every detail is handled professionally and with the upmost care. The staff members are exceptionally caring and all clinicians are masters level.
I have interacted with several of the clinicians and staff members and everyone of them is in this field for the right reasons. They are a trustworthy facility. I have always felt comfortable referring my clients to them because I know they will receive reliable, professional and compassionate care!

Excellent patient care from whole-heartedly committed staff who incorporate the best evidence-based practices. They address the whole person and the trauma behind the addictions in a beautiful, tranquil environment. As a therapist, they impress me more than most treatment centers and I do not hesitate to refer my clients to them.

I’ve actively worked with several clients who have utilized Sage as part of alcohol and drug treatment required in the Travis County Court system. I have been consistently impressed with the personalized service each client gets and the commitment to caring for the whole individual in addressing their various needs in dealing with alcohol and drug addiction. Sage is an excellent addition to the community and perfect resource for counseling and treatment.

I have worked as a consultant at Sage Recovery and Wellness Center and attended a couple of CEU workshops. Their facilities are top notch and their staff is cooperative, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would recommend their programs to anyone in need of counseling, rehab or those that are looking for addiction resources.
