Someone you love has died. You are now faced with the difficult, but important, need to mourn. Mourning is the open expression of your thoughts and feelings regarding the death and the person who died. It is an essential part of healing. The following articles provide many practical suggestions to help you move toward healing in your unique grief journey.
Most of us are not prepared to plan and carry out a funeral ceremony for someone we love. And so much of the information available on this critically important subject fails to focus on what is most important: having a personalized, meaningful funeral that helps families and friends begin the healing process of mourning after the death of someone we love.

If you are thinking of using this funeral home....don't. We recently used this place for my brothers' funeral. The staff is very unprofessional. People walking though, answering personal calls, and other distractions during meetings. The staff was mostly unhelpful with processes they should know. The home itself was dirty, dusty, with used Kleenex everywhere...we managed to have a funeral but it was not a good experience.

Told he would correct the obituary after the grandkids were listed wrong. Never happened.

Love this place. They went out of there way to bring me the death certificates after corrections. Thank you Dusting for everything. You should all check out Forest Hill Funeral Home.

Terrible experience with this funeral home. We have had two separate experiences in the last three months and both were extremely disappointing. The most recent involved not even posting an obituary which resulted in no one showing up for visitation. When questioned about it the explanation given was that it was posted but “something must happened”. As of this posting, this has still not been corrected. Yes it’s too late now but it would have been the right thing to do. The staff is not friendly and felt the need to give us “permission” to use the restroom.

Wonderful people and very clean . We held my cousin’s funeral here about a year ago and the staff was very polite and friendly. The place looked very clean and neat.

#1 my sons nostrils looked like something was hanging out of them. #2 his left ear had something hanging out of it. #3 my sons belongings were lost, he eyeglasses left the morgue with him. I was given another persons belongings. Wayne told me his mother that belongings were not sent with his body, his eyeglasses were not sent on his face during transport. He blamed it on morgue. At first when I asked for my sons belongings he said they were not sent. Then miraculously he said they found them in back- that would be clothing that belonged to someone else. #4 was overcharged and that was 3 months
