I was very nervous and apprehensive about the closing on my house. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the whole process was great! Mr Suttles was helpful with all my questions and with his dry sense of humor put me immediately at ease. I would recommend this law firm to everyone, they were kind professional and knowledgeable.

Closed on our lakefront property in August 2020. We used Suttles because they were covered by our legal plan, we won’t make that mistake again. There were issues back in August (like not paying off the buyers loan in a timely manner), but those pale in comparison to the giant screwup that we discovered in April 2021. When trying to build a dock on our property, it was discovered that the land lease required for all lakefront property had not been filed with Santee Cooper. The reason it wasn’t filed is because it was never turned in. When I called the law firm to address this, The impression

Would recommend. Very responsive and helped settle my seller's nerves about closing and the process. Took the time to explain all documents and answered all questions. Plus who doesn't like a closing attorney with a sense of humor. Very pleasant experience. Will use again.

We had the same poor experience as others have mentioned. We reached out 3.5 weeks before closing, agreed to move forward and it took 10 days before anyone reached back out to us with next steps. Everyone was unresponsive, there was no sense of urgency, no follow-up—we had to chase the owner and paralegal down. Received emails with wrong names and property. On the morning of closing... they were behind schedule and moving slow... We signed papers left w/o keys.. came back... they weren’t ready to give keys or paperwork.. hours later we finally got keys at 5:00. As a buyer.... I do not recommend

Do NOT use this company! We did for selling our home. They were terrible, unprofessional & unhelpful! Did not give us ANY, not even 1 piece of paper to take with us. No documents for us to keep on selling our home??? Told us to come at a specific time to pick up our check. Nope, we're not ready. The list goes on, do not use them!

This was the worst experience we have ever had with a closing.
After everything was signed some of the checks were very late. I had to go up there and get 2 of the payoff checks. One of the checks had been received but no account number. It was lost in limbo. I had to call the company and give them the information myself to straighten it out.
Would not recommend them.

I am a real estate Broker, and most of my clients choose Suttles for their closings. Suttles has a personal touch that the big box attorneys offices can't touch. When a client or I need to reach the paralegal or the attorney, they answer the phone, ready to answer any questions either my clients or I have, even outside of business hours. They are knowledgeable and professional, yet friendly and allow buyers and sellers to ask the questions, both during the process and at closing, without feeling rushed. I love Suttles Law Firm, can't say enough good things, and highly recommend them

The whole process with the staff was exceptionally painful. On multiple occasions my realtor and I, left numerous phone messages and emails that were never returned. Often times communication seemed very disjointed, we would ask a question and no one seemed to have an answer or we received incorrect information. When we brought this information to Mr. Suttles attention, he said he would call us back and make things right the following week. After waiting over three weeks for him to keep his word and return our call we finally contacted him again. He was very dismissive of our concerns and left

Represented the buyer for our closing. Took over 5 days to finally wire our proceeds, even then the figures were incorrect. How do you lose $2,000? Simple mathematics people, especially when it's your figures. Paid monies to people that weren't supposed to be paid, that were not sellers costs. Awful! Don't use them if you want to get paid and get your documents in a timely fashion. If you don't like getting your full money, then by all means.
