I am a Maryland native who graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1999. After graduating with degrees in management information systems and finance, I went to work as a technology consultant. Realizing that my career was not fulfilling for me, I decided to pursue something that would allow me to work more directly with people and have a direct impact on people's lives.

I am so pleased with this group. My biggest fear was getting my teeth fixed. They made a dream of mine come to reality they over did it. I would recommend anyone to them so thankful for them! I had my cleaning the other day. The receptionists are so amazing and friendly! Elaina was very sweet and friendly! 10/10 Amazing. This staff definitely knows what they’re doing and are rocking! Love them so much! Definitely recommend this dental office to everyone I know…

The staff was amazing! My daughter was quite frightened of getting some cavities filled and everyone was patient and helpful. The hygienist who worked with us (I wish I remembered her name!) was wonderful - you could tell that she really loves her job and is great at making everyone around her feel comfortable.

Dr. Betaharon and Terra are working to provide me with new dentures for my mouth after surgery. They take great concern over every detail, making sure my new dentures are comfortable, that they fit correctly, and that they blend in with my remaining teeth. Mine was a very rare case that they never had before. The surgery that I had for my mouth removed my jaw, and replaced it with a bone from my lower leg. It was a rather difficult task, but they are making it possible for me to smile and eat in public again! I love all of them. ❤️

I can’t even begin to say enough wonderful things about having to have my nasty infected tooth extracted so that I can get an implant. First of all, Ashley at the front is amazing and beautiful. She explained the whole process to me and the difference between a bridge and implant so I went with the implant option. Then, Terra the dental assistant… is literally a walking angel on earth. I asked Dr. Betaharon if I could take her home with me but I guess he needs her more than me :( She made me so comfortable and calm during the entire process, I would have all my teeth pulled if it meant

This is my 2nd visit at LaPlata Dental and it was an amazing experience. As a military veteran, I’m very selective about what dental office serve my family. This is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been too. Unbelievable atmosphere and a wonderful welcoming staff. I’m definitely bringing my wife and boys here.

Absolutely hands down the best dentist that I have ever been to. I gave up on my teeth along time ago due to horrible experience with many other dentist. I got a really bad tooth infection and had to go to the dentist. I found La Plata dental and they are just amazing! I used to dred my dentist appointments now I can't wait to go back! Thank you La Plata dental for your amazing team!
