Mullaney & Associates has developed personal and professional relationships with multiple organizations with the goals of supporting our community and furthering our field of physical therapy research. Mike Mullaney, DPT has been working with the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine, (NISMAT), at Lenox Hill Hospital for over 20 years.
Along with the NISMAT team Mike has been involved in the research and publication of at least 100 manuscripts. The staff at Mullaney & Associates has professional relationships with local high schools and universities. We provide physical therapy services at SJV, of which Mike is an alum, on Mondays and Thursdays, after school hours.

Services
Mullaney & Associates utilizes J&S Billing Company for all of our billing services. We have worked with J & S billing for almost 15 years and feel they are excellent in negotiating the complicated world of billing in healthcare. At Mullaney & Associates we believe in delivering research based, hands on treatment during every visit. All of our therapists have earned their Doctorate Degree, and only our Doctors of Physical Therapy deliver physical therapy services. We specialize in the treatment of general orthopaedic and neurological diagnoses.
Mullaney & Associates offers a return to sport strength and conditioning program. This program was designed to allow you to continue making progress in a supervised setting when your insurance coverage ends. It is available to adolescents and adults aged 12-21. The goal of this supervised program is to bring our athletes to their highest level of performance before returning to their sport.

I am grateful that I have discovered Mullaney & Associates PT. I have had several back surgeries through the years and have been to many PT facilities. Christine is very knowledgeable and skilled at selecting exercises that strengthen my back, core, and whole body. She is attentive, compassionate, and supportive. Christine "treats the whole person". How refreshing!

Top notch PT service at Mullaney & Assoc. I have worked with them on two or three occasions and was impressed each time by their professionalism, expertise and attention to detail. In addition, the atmosphere of the office and team is friendly and out going - which really helps when the PT exercises are challenging.

I received excellent care at Mullaney & Associates PT. I worked with Andrew on my shoulder problem over several months. Andrew is a very hard working, dedicated, highly skilled and intuitive physical therapist with a great knack for dealing with people. He has plenty of patience and a positive attitude. He succeeded in helping me resolve the pain and limited range of motion in my shoulder. I am so happy with the results and grateful for all his hard work!

I can’t say enough good things about Mullaney and Associates PT. Their knowledge base, manual skills, and facility is top of the line. I myself have a doctorate in physical therapy, so I am extremely picky with where I go to get my PT. I live 45 minutes away from Matawan but knew my health/wellness was worth the drive. On top of receiving exceptional care there, Co-owners Christine and Mike are just genuine good humans. That’s important to me as well. I have referred many people to them over the years with great results. Highly recommend!

Five stars are Not enough to rate Mullaney & Associates PT. I was blessed when someone shared their experience with this group. Many years ago i had a shoulder replacement and working with Michael Mullaney had me up and about in a few months. It was like i never had surgery. Now unfortunately i took a bad fall and had emergency hip surgery. Yes I am now bionic Annie. I have had 3 sessions with Michael. Already using cane and working hard. Everyone of the therapists are great...they all seem to know about each other's patients which is awesome when you have to switch once in a while due to scheduling
