Clear Passage has changed my life! I was skeptical, but I checked it out with my oncologist and physical therapist and both thought it was a good idea, so I went. It's pricey (you could take a luxury cruise) and insurance doesn't cover it, but what they do is miraculous. I had an abdominal blockage in 2011. The most excruciatingly painful experience ever. In 2013, cancer recurred in the colon and the OR nurse said that I was so full of scar tissue that it was pushing my organs up to my throat. Every doctor I have ever talked to said "if you are prone to scar tissue, you will experience

Terrible experience!! Therapist care less when i told her, i cant bear with the pain during the therapy(tummy work). She, with her cold and lack of empathy face said "that is normal", went on with the same strength to "treat" me. I was so in pain but was ignored by the therapist. Next issue was, my ears nearly pulled off from my face by her in one of the session, with her super power strength.
Many more unexpected reply/ words came from her e.g. "yeah, you will get abnormal baby", when i tried to get advise whether the tool needed to purchase, she answered "

This is long overdue, but with that being said.. I had adhesions from 2 c-sections I had done 13 yrs ago. I stopped doing the things I liked to do like play catch with my kids or badminton, walking up hills(I live in the hill country;) They helped me in ways I can't begin to explain. The therapist first off were very friendly and helpful and answered any questions and even told me about stuff I had no clue what was happening in my body. It all started to make since. They gave me tools to work on myself and taught me how which I have to say has helped a lot when I start to feel any pain it

Spent a week and a lot of money last summer going to the Clear Passage facility in Westchester County, New York. The therapist was very knowledgable and thorough. I was really hoping to avoid a surgical procedure to get rid of the adhesions that were causing a partial bowel obstruction and serious vomiting attacks for roughly 9 years. Clear Passage boasted how they were very successful with bowel obstructions caused by adhesions so I was very anxious to give it a try. After my treatment I went about 5 months and then the vomiting episodes began again. I couldn't take the pain anymore

The pros: this place does something almost no one does- treat adhesions non-surgically. They are very thorough in their pre-treatment evaluation.
The cons: they are waaaay over-priced to the point of clearly taking advantage of people in extreme pain. They don't deal with insurance. Almost anyone you talk to will tell you their model of 20-40 hours of treatment in 1-2 weeks is too much for the body to handle. It certainly was for me. Also, they purposely write their notes vague so that no one locally to where you live will know what they did or how to help you moving forward. This place is

I had to travel back to Clear Passage again in October 2015 and once more my experience was amazing.
I have been to Clear Passage twice now to receive treatment for abdominal adhesions and obstructions. The treatments themselves are very effective at breaking down restrictions, reliving certain pain and improving mobility for me, but it's really the people that make the difference. The entire staff- from phone greeters, to the owners, to the web master, to the administrative staff and more- each and every soul there is a caring and compassionate individual. From beginning to end they make

Clear Passage has changed my fiance's life. He was suffering from severe abdominal pain, episodes of vomiting, small bowel obstructions, and frequent hospitalizations. Countless doctors could not give us any answers as to a source of these problems. It wasn't until a specialist finally confirmed that he was plagued by abdominal adhesions, stemming from significant abdominal trauma and subsequent surgeries that left him with webs of scar tissue, that we changed our trajectory to look for other solutions.
