When you visit our office, our first goal is to establish a feeling of comfort and trust. Our job is to listen to you, respect your feelings and concerns, and educate you, rather than judge your decisions. We understand that you may be anxious about your child receiving dental care, thus we make a point to carefully explain our proposed treatment plan and we take the time to answer all of your questions.
Only after you are completely comfortable, we will take you through the treatment with the utmost of care. Modern dentistry has many techniques, local anesthetics, and relaxation methods to increase your child's comfort which you may rest assured knowing that we are experts. The more involved you are in making dental health decisions, the less room there is for fear and uncertainty.

I am SOO HAPPY my kids switched to Sunny Smiles Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Yashi is so thorough during the cleaning and exam. She really takes her time to explain what the kids need to be doing to have healthy teeth. The staff is super kid friendly and even my nervous 6 year old LOVED IT. There was no wait and we were seen immediately at the time of our appointment (kind of a bummer for the kids since they have video games in the waiting room).
Sunny Smiles Pediatric Dentistry believes that prevention is better than cure, which is why we are strong advocates of starting your child's dental visits by their first birthday. Both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association say that the first dental visit should occur within six months after the baby's first tooth appears, but no later than the child's first birthday.

Seriously?? This place was amazing! Initially the appointment was only for my 6 year old. She was scared at first, but then realized how darn cool the office was! The color scheme...the video games...DISNEY!!
Afterwards my two year old even joined in on the fun and they were able to squeeze her in for her first appointment. I've never seen a kid so excited to be at the dentist! I kinda can't wait to see everyone again :)
