Since 1960, the Cardenas name has been serving South Texas from right here in Brownsville. We started with a humble gas station, but by 1961, we already had our first full-fledged used car dealership with Ray's Auto Sales. In his time, Renato (Ray) Cardenas grew the business to encompass multiple brands and multiple locations all throughout South Texas, and though Ray has passed, his memory lives on in every location.

If I can give a negative star i would.. This car dealership sold me a car with a damaged frame. IThey lied and said car has no damage and was un good running conditions. I have replaced front end 4 times and recently was told it has a twisted front end dealership has ignored me and refuses to make their wrongs right. This place has put me and my kids in a dangerous vehicle and doesn't care if they kill me r anyone else.DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!!

I was able to trade in my Challenger for a Mercedes Benz for a really great deal. The staff was very friendly, courteous, attentive & went above & beyond to give me the best deal. Raul & Jorge were great sale associates; I recommend anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle to go visit Cardenas. They really do work with the customer.

I really wish salesman would read their emails. I spent over a day and half communicating with the internet sales manager, Jorge Santillana, if what I could and could not do. I gave him all the information that he asked, sent in my pre approval documents, drivers license and pics of my trade in. I also kept him posted throughout the day of what time I would be arriving.
