Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Good grief. Now I'm rating dentists? Well, I really should, because Dr. C. has been my dentist for 25 years and I am very pleased with his work and that of his staff. I'll be sorry when he finally retires. BTW, I've spent more time in the dentist chair than most families, I think. Not his fault; it's my genetics. Anyway, I've had a lot of time to think about dental care, so if there is a lay expert, I might be it.
